The RBR KERS is designed in the assumption that they will always be in front of the pack so they don't need it to overtake.

Webber can't even get close Alonso.

Webber is caught behind Alonso but the lack of KERS is now hurting him.

Vettel & Hamilton matching each others pace just about, the only variable is Massa because he is much slower than Button and gets nerfed by Button on the way by.

Massa should pit I suppose. He's just about to get smashed by Perez, who has only pitted once?

Really liking the new BBC commentary set-up with Brundle and DC, flows well and just feels right without Legard spewing word vomit everywhere.

Would've liked to have seen Crofty over from 5 Live but the Brundle-DC combo is a lot better than I thought for the first race!

So then, Vettel wins! A great race but not the sheer dominance expected. Still he raced like a champion. Hamilton taking a dying car home for 2nd and Petrov, PETROV PETROV 3rd.

Alonso 4th, Webber's car has completely died and stops 5th, Button 6th, Perez and Kobayashi 7th and 8ths. Massa 9th and Buemi 10th.

A good race, and it shows that these tyres will cause some intrigue going forward.

He did that because if button gave massa back his spot he would have to let alonso pass too, vs there being a chance of button only letting massa back past him.

Great race and podium. Can't say the three up there don't deserve it. Will be interesting to see what the stewards do now with all the racing incidents and hammys car.
