Grats to Button. Great way to celebrate his 200th race.

Very exciting race, would've like to see a bit more rain just to through things up in the air just a little higher.

After Hamilton's "How awesome am I?" segment on the BBC before the race, I must say I enjoyed everything that happened on the track today. :p Only thing that would have made it better would be if Vettel was behind all his championship rivals but that was never likely to happen.

Congrats to Button, solid if unspectacular but he got the job done and deserves his cake. Good to see Di Resta get 6 points too, he is showing a lot of promise.

Respect to the mclaren drivers, fighting every race without taking each other out.

Sjeez, why does Vettel look so disappointed again?

would be weird if he wasnt, he is a winner and doesnt like the fact he came in second.

The fuck is that suppose to be? They get an alien for a trophy?
Looked like they all quite liked the trophy's at the end there. Well, at least they all were looking at them taking in the design compared to the usual 'don't give a crap, and put them on the floor quickly' approach.

Poor him, increasing his lead in the WC and getting second even though it looked like he was going to be third or worse.

Macca trully fucked Hami race, putting Hami on the option when everyone else went on prime. That created the DT!!!!

I would say it was more the spin. That put him back with the rest of the field, got him the penalty, and let to him making a very risky call that didn't pay off.

After all that action, Vettel extends his lead....!!!!!

This idea that Vettel's gonna somehow lose the title in the second half of the season has been somewhat amusing, but that's all. He'll have to throw his car off the track the next three or four races for that to occur. It's not gonna happen, so you all might as well just deal with it.

Nice "Welcome Back Felipe" flag in the front/finish straight...cool to see.

And lack of consistency by the rest of the field.
Absolutely, the points system right now heavily favors consistency over wins. If I wrote the rules I'd go back to 10-6-4-3-2-1 in a heartbeat, but Vettel and Red Bull know how to play the game.

Anyway, great to see such a well earned result for Button on his 200th GP.

The reason he span was cause he was on the wrong tire, his supersofts where shot by then!!

We saw last year that changing the point system back really makes little difference to the standings.

To be honest most of the mistakes by hamilton were strategy.

Wrong tyres, by being on the super softs, than getting on inter's and the drive through.
But he has been fast as fuck on the track for most of the race.

Were they? He did another lap (or two?). It was more running onto a curb that was wet from the rain.

His strategy was terrible as well, there's no debating that.

Thank you, my point exactly!!!!

Should be a great season from now on even if Vettel wins WDC as McLaren look to have the best car out there.

And if I'm not mistaken, for those few laps before switching to inters he was the fastest car on the track repassing Button?

The problem is that Webber isn't challenging Vettel enough. Where Mclaren needs both drivers to do well, it's an easier decision for redbull. should have been a mclaren one-two today.

Oh shut up vettel.

Indeed, if he was on the right tyres it would have been nip and tuck between him and Button but I think Buttons was easier on the tyres overall and may still have overhauled any lead Hamilton may have built.

Vettel felt he could have won? Should have pushed harder when he was only 4s behind at the start of the last stint then!

At that point in the race Vettel was right on him, and had Red Bull had a better strategy they might had won the race. Vettel just mentioned it there. I can't understand why they didn't go for the undercut when the opportunity was there.

I'm going to have to drown my sorrows of Vettel extending his lead by having more champagne and money, damn shame.

Hopefully Di Resta can move to MGP in the next few years and Hulk can move up to race for FIF1.

You think Button would have won if Hamilton was on the same strategy? Surely not.
