Fia and perreli have been bending down for these teams all year now. This sucks.
How come they dont have to live with the consequences if they fuck up. Im glad its mclaren as well, because if it was red bull alone asking for this, this thread would be unbearable.

Let's be realistic, Spa just hasn't been making enough money to pay for the race every year. For the last few years I remember seeing articles each Spa weekend that Spa is losing money because people aren't turning up.

It's sad to see Spa go, but at least it's being replaced by another half-decent track.

Why would RBR and Mclaren even ask for new tyres, it doesn't make sense, surely it would have been seen as an advantage that they are allowed new tyres for the race.

Its the new tyres, everything is new to the teams. But i dont think they should be granted new tyres. They took the risk so they should live with it.

"There has been a bit of a brewing controversy this morning. Both Red Bulls blistered both front tyres in qualifying, and the team asked to be allowed fresh tyres on safety grounds. Pirelli brought 17 new tyres to the track 'for possible use'. But race director Charlie Whiting has decided not to allow the teams to use them. So Sebastian Vettel and Mark Webber will start the race on tyres that have much less grip. They will be slow and probably have to stop early. If they want to change tyres, they have to start from the pits. Lewis Hamilton and Jaime Alguersuari also have blisters - but only on one tyre, we believe."
