Shumacher had a excelent race. Its obvious that he doesent have 1st class car, but damn he was fast.

Yeah if he had a good car he'd still be able to cut it.

Held his own well today, very pleased for him.

Paul Di Resta's having a pretty good first season. I'd like to see what he's like in a slightly more competitive car, although the FI's no slouch.

Well I'm not following this thread during a race again. What a bunch of bitchers and whiners. Jesus Christ.

Great race. Almost every single lap had a great battle to watch. Buttom/Hamilton/Schumacher was by far the highlight, although I fucking loved Vettel's move on Alonso. Brilliance.

A real shame Hamilton didn't have one more lap to try and take Alonso.

<3 Monza.
Yeah, the group of us that hide in the Steam chat generally avoid such studpity and is of course real time so we react faster to lulz.

Anyway, people saying this season has been boring are clearly only interested in the race for 1st because the races have been a lot better than last year overall.

so after this race, Ferrari will move on to develop car for 2012?
All teams are working on 2012 cars, but some will probably switch to 2012 development only after Singapore. Mercedes is already on 2012 car, Ferrari will move on 2012 after next race.

Where will you be hanging out? Steam?

PS. "Red Bull gives you wings." Ahaha.

PPS. Not only interested in first for WDC, but... if Webber finishes second without a single victory, it would fucking suck.

My PC is still dead so no Steam chat for me :( Maybe next race. But yeah, it's embarrassing to read this thread during the race.

Anyone who gets annoyed Vettel runs away with a lead when races are this good just aren't worth listening to as far as I'm concerned. Nutters.

Vettel drove a monster race, almost trolling at this point.

Hamilton showed some maturity IMO, maybe a little overcautious at points that obviously cost cost him.

Button schooled Hamilton IMO, and is starting to show some serious skill that validates his Championship win, paper champion my arse.

I think we certainly saw some of the old Michael, which was great to see.

Webber LOL.

Overall a great and entertaining race.

lol Vettel same level as Senna. He has a superior car and no challenger from his own team. I'd like to see him in a car like that Ferrari.

Awesome dominance from him though out the race.

Aye, this thread really has gone to shit unfortunately.

I ought to join steam again to try it out there - was only present during Canada, which was brilliant, but that was partly thanks to the race.

Yup. No doubt he's a good driver, but he needs to be in a car that's so much more dominant than the rest of the field for anyone to judge. Actually, we caught a glimpse of how he does when it comes to actual racing (as opposed to essentially just hotlapping) and he can definitely improve.

How can anyone not like Vettel?

I'm sick of his domination, but it's thoroughly deserved and I don't begrudge him any of his success. His move on Alonso today was mighty.

That ex Bridgestone engineers that Mclaren snatched after Silverstone proved to be one of their best decisions this year

He just needs to stop winning with 10+ second leads.
Yep. His fight for Alonso was awesome... for the short time it lasted. I loved watching his overtake, I just want to see more of it.

Vettel is definitely one of the best out there, if not the best, but it's dull to see him so far ahead. A little bit more fighting for his wins and I'll be happy.

He's a lovely, top bloke. I'll never hate him even if he wins the next ten years.

Haha, boos... that's a bit stupid. :\

I don't get Italy loving Ferarri just because it's an Italian team. So silly.

Would the brits at Silverstone boo a Ferrari on podium? Somehow I doubt it

Well no I understand it, I just think it's stupid. So they're from your country... and?

It's like football. I don't understand why people usually support the team from your area. Seems pretty boring.

Even if Ferarri are legitimately your favourite, booing is out of order, regardless.

Errr it's happened plenty of times, however there are always a very strong Ferrari fanbase at Silverstone. As at most tracks.
