Di Grassi to replace Petrov at the Brazilian grand prix.

Di Grassi is a good driver, but doesn´t have money to get a seat.

Petrov, in other hand, has a shitload of money but is a mediocre at best driver.

Would be a nice change if they done this for one GP. Petrobras could sponsor both drivers.

Really surprised the Kimi talk is gathering pace, as opposed to the opposite, given that the Jaguar supercar story seemed pretty convincing (and a return with Williams really doesn't).

Hopefully the next Williams will be a step in the right direction (with the new engine and everything), but I expect the new technical team will need at least a year to start making that much of a difference.

Speaking of which, what the hell happened with Williams between this year and last? They're almost a completely different team given their results.

kimi and vettel will have a heated battle for the wdc next year!

Hahaha, but no.

If he does sign with them Kimi is going to be battling the Renault, Force India and Sauber drivers for 7th-8th place in the WDC, he's not going to be taking that seat to challenge, he's taking it to get a seat and remain relevant. I didn't realise that he was 32 already, if he fails to make much of an impression on his return I expect it will be shortlived, beginning and ending at Williams, taking 2 years out of the sport at age 24-26 is one thing, at 30+ is almost career suicide, former champ or not.

There is zero chance that Williams gets out of the trough they are in currently enough by the start of next season to be a WDC / CC challenger. Next years cars/specs are a minor evolution of this years cars and the lack of any significant off season testing means that next year will start somewhere close to where this years season finishes, performance wise. Red Bull / Ferrari & Mclaren fighting again for the top 6 places, Renault, Force India, Williams & Sauber fighting the midfield and then the also-rans providing lulz at the rear of the field in their mobile chicanes. :p

Kimi is making such a mistake.

I just hope we don't end up with another 'Schumacher effect'.

Kerb plan for tomorrow

The current plan is for the kerbs at Turn 3 and Turn 7 to be removed and painted – with drivers instructed that they will not be allowed to cross the white line that designates the side of the track.

At Turn 14, the kerb on the entry to the corner will be removed entirely, while efforts will be made at Turn 10 and Turn 13 to ensure that there are no further issues.

However, the FIA is being flexible with its approach to ensure its solution works, and will only inform the teams of its definitive plan ahead of FP3.

You know it's gonna happen. The usual blow-ins that post during a race, then one or two days after just to prove that they're not blow-ins, then they disappear.

Best just to roll with it, I guess.

Ohhh... I get it!
*taps nose*

I can't believe Webber actually managed to get a decent start! I also like how they managed to ditch the street lights because of the rain and put headlights on all the cars. Much better.

Come on guys, this WDC is already over and you know it. Vettel is the youngest double WDC in F1. I hope Ferrari can own the next year. I want Alonso to win a championship with Ferrari (sorry McLaren777).

If by 'going the wrong way' you mean 'almost side ways into your teammate', then yes.

I can't fucking believe Hamilton just did that. What a cock.

Sweet Jesus you scared me! I thought I screwed up my time calculation! I cautiously headed over to formula1.com to check the next time ticker.

And people, if you have a request, let me know! I have a server waiting to......serve?
