Should be a good race. RBR domination, but hopefully switched tomorrow.

It would be tragic for my manager team but hilarious otherwise if Vettel spears Webber going into T1.

That said, Force India not as strong as usual in quali I thought. And Maldonado, good job!

Apparently, he said "it was an unequal contest between Webber and Vettel."

I take back my comment, because he is right. Vettel didn't have KERS available to him.

Exactly, if he wanted to be a prick to Webber he would have said "Webber vs KERSless Vettle was a fair battle".

Webber would still find some way to botch that and lose once again. Starting behind him must suck :/

suprised all the vettel haters didn't jump on this one, as it was quite a cheeky thing to say.
Praising Webber for doing a better job and a faster time (2 tenths) as it was clearly as Horner said it "it was an unequal contest between Webber and Vettel" with Vettel without KERS which supposedly is worth 5 tenths

(doubt that was intentional thou)
Nah, that statement seemed fine to me. I don't hate Vettel, he just annoys me, but I do hate the RBR management.

The interwebz. Stream will be better than ads and Rusty anyway. I know nothing about Sydney so I can't help you with a venue for TV, sorry.

You will have to stream it, use n2n4u.net, I use it to watch the practice sessions and they always have a BBC stream up and running sooner or later!

If you want something easier just stream it from one's website: http://one.com.au/motorsport-live-streaming.htm

I don't know how "Mark deserves the pole, he did the better job" can be taken as anything but good sportsmanship, unless you twist the shit out of it. He may have been bitter as hell on the inside, but that statement was fine to me *shrug*

Because you still get Rusty and ads. That's why. One needs to save some money, and just use the damn commentary feed they pay the BBC for. I could put up with ads if Rusty didn't talk for five minutes everytime they came back.

The Scorecard is a handy tool for you to have during a race. It provides a handy overview of a drivers best and worst race results. How did drivers do during their career, this season or on this track. Know the stats before the commentators on TV mention them.

*Note that only classified finishes count. Retirements do not.

Overview of all best and worst finish positions in their career, this season and on this circuit...

Vettel never above 3rd...

Nice GP2 race just finished there on EuroSport.
the dirty side of the track was definately slower. At the start Dani Clos easily took 2nd place after starting 3rd.

Thats exactly how I feel. I would love to see him have to overtake and battle his way to a race finish instead of leading most of the races so far with no pressure from behind.

But it is very unfair to not give him credit, he has outperformed Webber this season in every race and last season he won the championship. He did have the best car last year and this year by a clear margin and I doubt he could do what Hamilton or Alonso did with their teams last year but to win so many races at such a young age confirms he not just an average driver.

I missed the last part of quality but looking at the times, damn some close ones there.

Should be a good race today, I like this circuit a lot.

Saw that, it was worse than in Turkey. Mostly due to long straight to first corner (atleast four times longer) , so clean side could bring some bonus today on the start.

Yeah I got a laugh out of Ferrari's view, Bianchi is Ferrari junior driver:

"Frenchman’s Lotus ART was hit by Giedo Van der Garde’s Barwa Addax Team car"

I guess that's one way to look at it

I just do not understand why did Eurosport removed GP2 coverage from Eurosport International. Probably it is too expensive to buy license for International coverage.

Thank god that my cable provider carries British Eurosport.

Ok, quick lunch and then race time :)

Candid interview with Schumacher there.
Yeah, he always is with McKenzie as they are really comfortabe talking.

Nice to see that Jenson also hates "the finger", I think he's going to see it a lot more though this season whether he likes it or not.

Three things that I predict will happen:

1) Safety Car deployed before the end of Lap 2
2) Michael Schumacher to finish at least 4 positions behind Rosberg
3) Mark Webber will win, but won't be leading after his final stop.

My predictions:

1: Nothing will happen at the first corner, aside from maybe Alonso getting squeezed by the McLaren sandvich.
2: Vettel will attempt to pass Webber mid-way through the race, fail, and knock himself or Webber out.
3: Hamilton, laughing after said accident, wins.

Interesting to see that pole lap comparison.

Vettel is better than Webber all through the track, but Webber aces that little chicane at the end, and KERS done the rest of the damage. This should make for an interesting battle in the race.

Any word on Vettel's KERS? I can see him losing 2-3 spots before the first turn if it's still broken.
Saying it should be working, which means it wont.

What he say? I haven't been bothering with the pre-race show recently.

He said something along the lines of him wanting to be with a team 'that could win' but it was how he worded it that seemed a bit interesting to me.

Great lap comparison between Webber and Vettel's fastest laps in qualifying. Quite telling really, considering that Seb didn't have KERs, but was often ahead of Webber, even after making small errors. Webber only seemed to pip him by nailing the final chicane. Scary.

I can see Hamilton doing something stupid into turn 1 because of Vettel's Kers situation, and then being passed by Alonso. I hope not, but that's my gut feeling.
