We're in Webber territory now. This and Monaco are his if next year is anything to go by.

Alonso wooh'ing and fingering for fourth, is this what it has come to?

Why shouldn't he? He got fourth place, almost third with a car that isn't as good as the Red Bull and McLaren and it's his home race, so he's racing in front of his car.

Yay, Alonso! smh, Massa.

edit: Shit, Alonso almost got Hamilton.

1:21,961 vs 1:21,964

Yup, but how many runs on the soft did he use to get that, anyway i'm Just glad for Webber, hope tomorrow is a good race.

Alonso to take out Vettel first corner? We can only hope...

I have a fantasy world where all 23 drivers team up each weekend to make Vettel's weekend as hellish as it could be.

Lewis should be fine on those tyres. How many laps did he do at the end of the race in China after flat spotting his softs passing Rosberg?

I'm not detracting anything from that awesome lap of his. It's more the predictability of qualifying nowadays. As much as the racing has improved, qualifying (for top position) is not as exciting as it used to be. That has to do with RBR dominance, but also the lack of softs for qualifying.

haha, I wish the same thing!

I also wake up each morning hoping to find an article on Autosport saying that the FIA has disqualified Red Bull from the championship for some form of cheating.

This is what it's come to..

I would much rather have a slightly less exciting qualy for a better race. Qualy is still interesting in terms of strategy, and the races are much better.

I was talking about both parts of the weekend.

oh, ok.

yeah, qualifying isnt too bad for me to watch as Webber is still a chance to get pole even though noone else can.

no Kers for Vettel in Q3 either
It will work as charm tommorow, you will see :D

Will Webber mess his start? Last time he did not do so badly, so there are chances this time. And he is also on clean side.

Button is useless, he should be racing and not moaning like dying grandma after each practice/quolies/race - understeer, oversteer, traffic, balance issues, where are my pits...

Sydney was the only major city that got it live.

In Adelaide it's not on until 12:30, that's 3 hours late. I think Perth might have been the same. Melbourne has it 2 hours late and Brisbane only got it on a half hour delay.

Edit: As Dead Man said, all ONE wants to do is keep all the football bogans happy by showing a stupid amount of football every fucking weekend.

Could be an interesting race for Vettel tomorrow.
Diryt side of track, KERS not working (maybe fixed tomorrow) & longest run into Turn 1 so far.

All cars are on the grid tommorow, 107 % time is 1m28.767s, DiAmbrosio did 1m28.556s.

Webber, Hamilton, Button, Rosberg and Maldonado on clean side.
Vettel, Alonso, Petrov, Massa and Schumacher on dirty side.

Tyre situation is looking good for RBR and Mclarens. Schumacher also saved his tyres with no time in Q3. And that 'flat' spot on Hamilton front left shouldn't be a problem, they can rebalance the wheel.

i don't think the dirty side makes that much of a difference here, plus the hard tyres are graining much less

That comment from Horner wa a bit shit. Otherwise, just checking in to voice my happiness for Webs getting P1. Fingers crossed he takes it all the way, hopefully with a Vettel DNF.

Vettel will cut straight over and just weave back and forward wildly like always. The stewards have already come out and said they don't take into account when people do that at the start.

Why all the Vettel hate? :/

Edit: Btw. quoting Vettel: "To claim Mark got the pole because I couldn't use KERS wouldn't be fair ... Mark deserves the pole, he did the better job. ..."

I dont think they can fix Kers for the race tommorow. When they are in Parc ferme they arent alloowed to make any changes i thought, unless it is for safety reasons.

Very boring quali. P3 lacked any tension or excitement. I agree with Brundle - they need to do something to keep it interesting on Saturdays now the races are infinitely more eventful.

Mclaren also reporting KERS problems in Q3, they were unable to use it at full capacity due to temperature problems.

Well I made my changes on F1 racemanager but I didn't set bets, d'oh.

Get one Webber and hopefully Hamilton can get a pass on Vettel in T1. :)

Also what happened to Heidfeld?

suprised all the vettel haters didn't jump on this one, as it was quite a cheeky thing to say.
Praising Webber for doing a better job and a faster time (2 tenths) as it was clearly as Horner said it "it was an unequal contest between Webber and Vettel" with Vettel without KERS which supposedly is worth 5 tenths
