Red Bull has a "stupid setup problem" with the RB10, according to Newey, that's why they weren't on the track yet. Meanwhile, Kimi managed a full lap 'round the circuit! Hooray! All is not lost.

Hi guys. At the circuit at the moment. Nothing going on at this second.

The Renault engine sounds the best so far. Saw Hamilton start up and then cut the power and the turbo sounded like a vacuum cleaner...

I though I heard that on the vid, the sound of it spinning down after he went 2m.

Lewis doing his bit to perform the first real-world impact test of the new frontal section, I guess. Fair bit of paint on the front-left.

That'll it be it for Mercedes today, then?

Disgraceful that people are being made to pay to see F1 and Sky just can't be bothered.

McLaren, wtf aer you dooooiing?

it's not Sky, they want to show it but they're not allowed.

Probably for the best. You'd mostly just be watching an empty, albeit sunny, track all day.

Really? Like how the FIA have banned websites from showing the live timings like they did last year? Way to shit on the fans.

McLaren won't be out on track today according to Kravitz. They have such big problem, they can't even start a car.

Force India had electronic glitch.

Maybe it would raise the testing costs to allow for filming at the track, must be a logical reason why there are journalists but no TVs...

They have a program about testing on tonight at 9 but it's only 15 minutes long. Followed by a testing notebook by ted kravitz.
