It was a wacky podium. First Bourdais breaks his trophy, then Dario's told he's been penalized and is no longer the third place finisher (later rescinded).

40C in Budapest on Sunday. That should be interesting.
@NobleF1: I'm not sure there is an official record for hottest GP - but 40C is up there with Argentina 1955, France 1959, Dallas 1984 and Bahrain 2005

What compound tyres are we having this weekend?

So that's good news for Lotus right?
With the old tyres Lotus and Ferrari would dominate the weekend. With this new tyres nobody knows.
Butter
Quite. It's also not really clear how far Lotus and Ferrari have fallen behind in the development race, and add on top of that how well each team will have made use of the YDT and you're well and truly into who the fuck knows country.
So Vettel will probably win.
Kurier : Mateschitz and Ecclestone agreed and F1 goes to Austria in 2014!
Rumours going around this morning that there will be announcement that F1 will be coming back to the A1 Ring (Red Bull Ring) in Austria.
Looks like it'll be on the 2014 calendar.
Wonder how much Red Bull paid Bernie to get it back on the calendar?
Looks like its confirmed:
What races are being dropped then? Next year looking a little busy.
Korea is gone too I reckon. Nice track but in the middle of nowhere and terrible attendance to go with it.I bet Korea is out.
Totally worth the trade for Red Bull Ring.

Race will be July 6th I'm hearing
the quality of the hotels.
With any luck, it's back-to-back with another Euro track. Was pissed I couldn't do that this year, love to do it next, for fucking sure.Sweet. Tempted to go to that one next year.
How do you come to that conclusion? Not being a smartarse, genuinely want to know.Oh look an European race being added to the Calendar. It does seem like little Bernie is on his way out...
My body is ready. Have we ever had that before? Has that ever happened in the last decade or so?July 6th could be Silverstone>Germany>Austria. Assuming Nürburgring survives. Back to back to back!
Wasn't this the problem with the Red Bull Ring? Wonder if they are working on it

In the midst of a 10 week stretch with only 3 races, you're worried about a crowded schedule? What races are being dropped then? Next year looking a little busy.

I thought it was the quantity of hotels they were worried about. Good news though!
Race weekend already? These three weeks have gone by so fast.
So Kimi, Button and Alonso only ones next year with actual experience from the track.
Holy shit
