No less controversial than racing in South Africa in the 70's, or continuing to race in Bahrain.

F1 stays non-political, it's one of the biggest pros of the sport imo.

Not really. He only had an incredibly small area to work in to have the track meet regulations. I'd say he's done a great job considering the space he had to work in. Sure the race would be more exciting if it was all long straights and 90 degree corners, but tbh that's be boring as heck to watch. Turn 3 is a treat to watch.

It's far too easy to blame Tilke when you ignore the parameters he has to work within.

Both the GP3 and GP2 races were great. I wouldn't blame the track for the sorry state F1 is currently in.

This season has had hugely exciting races. Boring races are the exception, not the rule, for this season.
