Sky Sports News HQs Craig Slater has the latest on Marussia:
Marussia have announced their intention to come out of administration by a company voluntary arrangement. I have been in touch with their administrators and one of them - James Rossiter has released this statement:
It is envisaged that, prior to the commencement of the first race of the 2015 season, investment into the business will be made upon the Company exiting from administration via a Company Voluntary Arrangement (CVA), which is planned for 19 February 2015. A CVA is a restructuring process agreed with the Companys creditors which allows for a turnaround of the business and the creation of a longer term viable solution for the team.
My understanding have followed these negotiations is that one of the key factors is that Marussia will get their prize money from the 2014 season somewhere in excess of £30m. Now that that is firmly in place they are a much more attractive proposition for a buyer.
My understanding is that John Booth and Graeme Lowdon will be running the team and they do plan to take part in the first race.
The January 21st sale was cancelled because they had a potential investor.
Only non-vital assets and the factory have been sold.
Hamilton's broken down at the chicane
My worry for them is even if they get a car to the track how far off the pace it'll be with no development work done for so long.

More like Still I Spin.
"The W06 is not an evolution of the W05 like many people said, but a completely new car even in the layout, but I don't want to get into details. In Jerez we're always running full tank and with a racing setup, so everyone else could infer our pecking order...
we cannot know where other teams stand if they don't run or run with low fuel. In Barcelona [test] 1 and especially [test] 2 we'll concentrate on pure performance, when all the developments for the [Australia] race will be ready.
Could they be a McLaren B team?
Ive just asked McLaren and they say we are not involved with this. If it is Honda it is not going to work with the 2014 car because of the way the engine mountings are. They could use Ferrari for a year and then move to Honda, but Honda have their own problems to sort out, they are not in the business at the moment of getting another team on board. And weve had that denial from McLaren that they are involved.
The breakup has an affect already
What, again?
The gossip sites say it's over "commitment issues". I guess she's mad that he's not signed a new Mercedes deal.

It's being reported that Justin King, who was CEO of J Sainsbury plc for 10 years until last year, is the man behind Marussia rescue bid
lol
He's biggest problem is letting his personal life taking hold of his emotions and affecting his on track performance. Should at least be a 3 time world champ by now.
It's already being said that McLaren is in trouble. Both the chassis and the engine are bad at the moment.
It's already being said that McLaren is in trouble. Both the chassis and the engine are bad at the moment.
I think it's pretty unfair to blame everything on his personal life and say it's the reason he didn't win more championships. During the one season he went really crazy, in 2011, Red Bull and Vettel were dominating anyway. In 2012 it was McLaren who screwed him over, I think.
EDD STRAW says the Ferrari looked really good turning into the chicane, so perhaps Raikkonen finally has the front-end feeling to the car that he craves.
But is it the chassis acting bad as the engine isn't performing or the other way around? People were complimenting the McLaren packaging a couple of days ago.
By whom?
CRAIG SCARBOROUGH: "Ferrari has turned a corner, it just needs to catch up the last stretch to Mercedes. The car looks a lot more stable, improved engine power and drivability is helping balance in the turns and the aero looks far more sorted than last year.
"An image of the diffuser covered in flow-viz showed really good flow lines, compared to the disturbed air passing through last year's underbody.
Time to get hype guys ?
Time to get hype guys ?
I know that test times are worth shit, but just imagine for a second Vettel winning the championship in his first Ferrari season. Alonso's face would be priceless.
Time to get hype guys ?
I think it's safe to say the car is much better than last year's monstrosity.
I can't tell you how conflicted I am by the prospect of supporting Ferrari. I'm a big fan of Vettel and Raikkonen, but I've always disliked Ferrari.
14:31 It's a 1m20.841s for Raikkonen on the soft-compound Pirellis. That's the fastest time of the week - pipping Vettel's best earlier in the week of 1m20.9s.
14:30 And in sector two...
14:29 We have a new overall best in the first sector from Raikkonen...
