Wow people saying that was an anti-union speech? Jump higher, maybe you can catch the point flying way over your slow heads.

are you dense? he took the motto of pro-unionization folks and said that the other folks matter more.

Either he was trying to say that everyone should unionize (they should) or he was saying he's against the voice acting union, and I'm sure most folks with skin in the game read it the latter.

Ok with under 1h left I gotta ask, where are the extended 3-4 min gameplays? I thought they would be the dominating part of the videos?

This thing should be an hour long... two hours is way too much time for all this needless bullshit.

Talk about putting words in Nolan's mouth. All he's doing is thanking ND and saying that without their hard work he wouldn't have the opportunity and rewards he's had.

Y'all complaining about the music and stuff.

Like, this is what the emmy's and the globes and the oscars have been doing for yeaaaaaaaars.

I vividly remember how every single human being on this planet was shitting at the Bond song last year at the Oscars.

And that song was nominated.

And won.

Biggest voice actor in games coming out with the video game equivalent of #alllivesmatter speech. Kind of gross. Of course it's easy for him to make that statement when he's making bank. Is this Kind of like people shitting on mcdonalds workers for getting a 15 dollar min wage when other professions like paramedics make the same? Just because one profession makes shit doesn't mean the next guy isn't entitled to a living wage. This is crap.
You could very easily argue that the current demands of the strike only benefit the biggest actors like him and not the little guys.

I think that was completely missing the point of the speech anyways though.

In regards to the strike, only one of their demands is in regards to money, remember. Other demands include having stunt coordinators for mo-cap sessions and other such scenes, knowing more about the roles before signing on, and shorter stressful periods.

Detractors love to bash the whole "VAs want money, ungrateful bastards" angle but honestly most of their demands really do seem fair to me. Always gets overshadowed, though.

Is Prey going to be another Versus XIII situation where people who can't let go of dead visions of games keep bringing it up
