In regards to the strike, only one of their demands is in regards to money, remember. Other demands include having stunt coordinators for mo-cap sessions and other such scenes, knowing more about the roles before signing on, and shorter stressful periods.

Detractors love to bash the whole "VAs want money, ungrateful bastards" angle but honestly most of their demands really do seem fair to me. Always gets overshadowed, though.

That's how they tried to turn the public against them in the late 1800s - early 1900s, so it's not surprising they're repeating their tactics.
