Unfortunately, unlike the real Minecraft which tries its hardest to make sure you commit to every change you make to your world, if they burned all of Brad's stuff down and he really cared about losing it, he could probably just quit without saving.
I think it is the Gamespot player and it is junk.
Gamespot's player has always been junk. It's gotten to be less junk over the years, but it's still big and bulky and square and looks really shitty and super aliased when you view stuff in full screen.

I think you're right, I was watching some of the Minecraft video on my phone then switched to the main site and I wasn't able to jump to where I had been, had to wait for it to load. Bummer cos I tend to watch the longer videos in chunks and skip to the last timestamp I watched.

The new video player means I go from getting little to no ads to getting ads every time I watch a video and they are all for US products I couldn't even buy if I wanted.

You can always activate adblock or similar when you watch a video (it works, just tested it) - and switch back afterwards.
Hm, works fine for me.
What new player are you talking about? Just watched the Minecraft quick look and everything seemed the same.

IDK, that kinda looked on purpose to me.
Figured out why I can't see this new player, it's not for HTML5. I switched to the other options to try it out and it seemed OK. Didn't get the glitch with no audio or bad looking HD either. *shrug*

The stretching for full screen doesn't have anything to do with the resolution of the video. Even the player interface gets all crapped up.

Yeah creeper scaring the shit out of him was pretty good. I've had that happen far too many times myself. I got tired of jumping out of my seat, not to mention my hard working getting blown to bits, so most of my Minecraft play has been on peaceful mode. I haven't played in like 6 months though. Maybe even a year?

I can't get any other QL but the Minecraft one to load though. I mean I click on other ones but when I hit play it's the Minecraft QL.
Okay the Sniper Elite loaded but only from the front page. Going from the Videos -> Quicklook tabs it's all Minecraft.

This is the first time I've ever seen more than 20-30 seconds of Minecraft footage and...it actually looks really fun. Just fooling around in a big world, building random shit.
PC version is probably the best, yeah? My computer is colossally shitty, but I think I can at least manage this.
