Gundam Seed HD Episode 1 {rewatch}

Its on Daisuki and after watching Round Vernian VIFAM I need my modern mobile suits to wash those designs away (still VIFAM is compelling cause of the aliens and planets plot). I never noticed Natarle this early, though its not like she was really introduced this soon.

So different watching and experiencing it when youre already acquainted with the characters, Athrun's team, Dearka!!!! even, and go getter Kira.

Who has VIFAM? Which one are you talking about?

I will probably always find Natarle more attractive than Murrue. I don't know why. Maybe it's just because everybody always forgets about Natarle.

So I took a long break from building but it is time to get back in the game.

I am studying the manual tonight and starting in the morning. going to put a matte coat on it too XD

They're both hot. Does it really matter? lol

Natarle would never marry the village idiot.
Well that's no fun. Is there like a "no waifu war" sign in the OP in invisible text? Natarle at least had standards. You just never saw some random fool try to run up on Natarle. Patrick Cole Slaw was such a shit pilot.

I hope the Gundam wing kits get 2.0 releases in a couple years. They are nice kits, but require a lot more time/effort compared to newer kits. Plus getting the weapons/kit to balance just right is a pain.

New Astray has been shown.

Has a Kitana and with Blue Frame D coming out a while ago it might be red upgrade time.

done for the first day. gotten rusty, took me 2 hours on this.

yeah they're full solid toys. but the highest engineered lineup

expected price is about 160-200 and pre-orders are extremely limited.

Decided I wanted the Bandai DX chogokin MACROSS DELTA VF 31 Siegfried if I don't like the 1/72 line.

where can preorder?

Speaking of collectibles, does anyone have a recommendation for a Zaku from the original series? Something that's a completed figure not a model.

Hey fellow Gundam lovers. I've been a big fan of various series for awhile and noticed recently that MS Gundam V is being released on Blu-ray. I've never seen the series but I understand that it still takes place in the UC timeline, so I'm curious to see if its any good.

Just wanted to check in with GAF and see if the series is worth my time & money?

Some like it and others hate the shit out of it.

From what I can tell, Victory is generally considered weak and some in the GAF community absolutely hate it. I personally really liked it. I felt like it did a good job at showing how horrible war can be and had a good diverse cast of characters. I like the design of the Victory Gundam and V2 as well as the mobile suits that use beam rotors. The show gets pretty strange though with mobile suits riding in giant tires and motor cycle battleships and a heavy dose of newtype shenanigans. With how divided opinions are on it, I'm not sure it will be worth dropping the $150 or whatever for the whole series. If you want to see all of the UC shows though, I'd say pick it up.

Victory was a mess, it doesn't really feel like it was picking up until it is almost over, but its highs are really high. I would honestly say that victory has worse pacing than f91, but ar least f91 compensates with the neat ideas it has.

I love the mechanical designs from that era though.

Enjoyed it a ton, easily one of my top series, but can understand why a lot of people dislike it. It emulates a lot of the grimdark of Zeta, in a wacky manner akin to ZZ. A perfect example of this is the land battleships that the antagonists use: they look goofy as shit, basically a battleship with motorcycle wheels on it, but then they're portrayed as quite effective in-universe, running over entire towns of people or mobile suits and being responsible for quite a few named deaths.

Although, if you're interested because its a UC show, it probably won't be what you're looking for. As it takes place in late UC, there's only tangential relevance to the events of early UC conflicts.

Thanks, I'll tread carefully. Not much to watch Gundam wise while we wait for the next Origin episode to drop, but at least I have Delta to satisfy my mecha show urges.
