Been looking for a new Hobby since i've been really stressed this past few weeks. So as I was doing some cleaning I came upon my fist ever gumpla a 1/144 wing gundam zero from 2000.
As my first ever gunpla I was fairly dissapointed as a kid,the end result really needded a lot of painting wich I never bothered to, it also didn't like that it was advertised as something amazing in the package. So well I pulled this thing out and started working on it.
First thing i've been doing is eliminate all the sharp points (this thing was imposible to handle I did a shitty job cuting it back in the day).
Done that I kinda wan't to paint it....but i don't know what do I have to use and how...a paint brush perhaps?
Also is a ended up having such a good time fixing it i decided to import 3 gunplas

Char voices a character in Hunter x Hunter. I need to watch Zeta again at some point now.

MS IGLOO - The Hidden One Year War & Apocalypse 0079
Honestly, I don't know what I was expecting coming into this other than it was all CGI. To get that out of the way, the CGI doesn't hold up. The characters look ugly and are over animated. The actual mobile suit segments hold up better, but still aren't great. The episodes also became very repetitive and predictable. New hyper aggressive and eccentric pilot comes in to test a new weapon, the weapon fails or gets put into an impossible situation, the new pilot dies in a blaze of glory, and the crew realize that this guy they didn't like might have been more noble than they thought. It is a shame because I do like the premise. Following a group of engineers testing experimental weapons and having to deal with military politics is a great idea. Allows for quirky new mobile suits, without having to work it around a Gundam and keep the characters grounded. I would like more Gundam that follow more low tier soldiers on both the Zeon and Federation sides.

Grounded goes out the window compared to most OU's near the end of Zeta and then goes completely bonkers up until the end of Hathaway's Flash so enjoy it while ya can

After watching Zeta, it's difficult watch seed destiny seeing that so many things were just ripped right into destiny and Zeta does it so much better.

Scirocco is a interesting character, the way he thinks is so dangerous, i would feel threatened by a person like him in real life.

Warlock does.
You know the FT Gundams have two forms, the original After Colony ones and the rebuilt Mars Century ones? Satan is the AC version of Warlock, so it should be transformable.

I know nothing about FT outside of the plot being bat shit and Epyon White being the only Gundam that I've seen of it so far that I've actually been able to like.
Warock is basically a Deathscythe that has two Scythe so it duel wields.
Transforms into that thing, it's called its Fenrir Mode and can use us hyper hammers combo'd with Nanos Machines to create 50 simultaneous duplicates of it self.
It's unclear if the are purely illusions or if they can effect the world as there are conflicting translations.
Warlock is completely and utterly broken.

I did check and I just see it wrapped in a cloak. Hard to judge suit design based on that. I guess FT is like if Gundams had Stand powers.

Lol none of the Gundam's got full reveals aside from Prometheus and Card Royals.
You can't even use the cover arts as reveals because there is conflicting art for certain suits.
Snow White has two forms as Zero mentioned....yet we've seen it with three different styled heads for fuck sake.

After FT finished Sumizawa talked about there being issues with Katoki and finalizing designs so if FT gets used again we could see heavy redesigns as far as what we know.

I'm very open to Hathaway's Flash just cause of the suit designs. Don't really care much for Hathaway himself, he's like Obito Uchiha as far as I'm concerned.

Well depending on which phase of FT we look at it, it actually does qualify.
FT had full volumes sell as much or more then some of the Unicorn Volumes. Thing is the quality was so bad and we had huge gaps in updates due to Sumizawa needing repeated breaks for personal reasons it couldn't hold up over the 5 year time frame.
No reveals, Copy based characters and the time frame for the overall shortness killed FT even though the first few Volumes did super well.
Finished all 3 gundam movies. overall it was a great experience and that End song of movie 3 is fucking amazing. almost teared up.
That being said I strongly recommend someone watch the tv series over the movies. So many great details are glanced over in the movies.

I honestly generally think everything in 0079 is ugly and the only reason most people like any of it is nostalgia for the originals.
That said the two closest things to being good are Zaku 2, Dom and Char is easily the best character for me.

lol get out. I watched both the tv series and movies for the first time this year and think it shits on a bunch of later stuff. plus the spinoffs like 08th team are the GOAT. suit designs outside of the water mobile suits are <3.
I love Kai because he is so real. The man knows he is a coward yet fight anyways to protect his friends.Kai is also my favorite character from 0079. I love that he basically becomes James Bond in Zeta.

RX-78-2 and Zeong are strong contenders for me as well.

Fair enough, I mean if ya'll really do think they look good then certainly I can't nor do I want to argue with that.
Just to me the flat footed goofy proportioned suits look horrid and I can't understand why a single person could honestly like RX-78-2 as presented in 0079 let alone think its remotely as good looking as something like 0 Gundam which takes the thing and finally makes it look somewhat decent.
I think the 0079 looks way better, plus it doesn't have the bulbasaur thing in the back.

To be fair that art of Roll out 0 Gundam is far worse then it ever looks in the show.
Still I respect the opinion I just don't understand it. To me those feet, legs, hands and head makes 78-2 look like a giant pile of garbage.
