Thanks. Forget to mention that I did watch the firsr episode of Build but didn't think much of it TBH. Might give it another go.
Still have to finish off Unicorn as well so I'll have to add that to my watch list.

The first season of 00 is fine, it's just tainted by the not so good second season and full on crazy stupid movie.

You actually sound like a huge fan of Victory, it's one of my favorites. I don't rewatch yearly, but it's in my top two.
Yeah Wing has been a bit of a slog but I've also been way busier these past few weeks haha.

I've always enjoyed it, but it's obviously not for everybody. I guess watching it for the first time as an adult just isn't good for Wing.
Great to hear. I still don't know why others hate it so much.

For all its shortcomings there were lots of moments where I genuinely enjoyed it. I honestly feel like so much of the fat could have been trimmed. They could have told the story more effectively in about half the amount of episodes.
The final 10 episodes were good though, lots of great action.

I still find it funny sad how this has back to back clip show episodes. Last 10 are pretty good yeah. Definitely should've been trimmed a bit though.

Wing is still up there for best gundam tv anime. Loved how the characters were all brought back together once more after splitting up.
Not even close IMO.
Any of the UC stuff was better, I think I even preferred Double Zeta.
Don't bother taking his opinions seriously. The metrics by which he decides the quality of a show will make your head spin.

I think DTL's ranking of the series is proportional to how much Yaoi angst there is.

Full Armor looking good. About to start my MG Heavy Arms with changed colors soon...ish. Maybe in two or so weeks when things calm down at work, possibly with new a new webcam to record it lol.
But decided to finish G Gundam Season 1 last night simply because I was on the last 4 episodes of my rewatch when I stopped. The craving for non-Gundam anime has subsided it seems. I tried being interested in the other shows on my to watch list but just couldn't get into them. Also half way through G Reconsita or w/e its spelled as well...

Yeah I haven't used any decal softener before or any equivalent.
Every time I look at the Full Armor Gundam I think it's the coolest looking thing, but then I see all the spindly armatures and it's ruined.
Build looks great though; are the decals waterslide or rub on?

It is perfect for water slides. You can go back and fix them anytime thanks to it and then press down for a better stick

Heero didn't go all out, but I think people expect either Heero to be super above Wufei or the Zero to be super above Altron and I don't think either statement is true.
In the first hour of Waltz I learned more about the pilots and their past than I did in 49 episodes of the show though, it's crazy.
Both are pretty true. Wufei gets frustrated easy and the Altron is a garbage Dragon Gundam ripoff while the Zero basically grants the pilot Newtype like awareness, including the future prediction stuff that only really powerful newtypes tend to get. Which is ironically the same thing that seemingly drives both of them crazy, seeing all those possible deaths repeated over and over again.

Then how come Wufei was the only one that really didn't lose his shit as badly as everybody else when he piloted Wing Zero? I honestly put Wufei in that tier right below Zechs and Heero. Wufei is a hot headed mess in very specific circumstances and most of that resulted from either defeat by Treize or watching his colony blow up.
Wufei is already crazy, that's why!
Trowa does the best with the Zero System. Doesn't go crazy and just...regains his memories. Quatre the worst, though he came into it with a bad outlook to begin with.

Well since Trowa wasn't really there what else was the Wing Zero supposed to do for him? Wufei was vengeance crazed too, but he handled that way like way better than Quatre did. I always found Wufei to be a lost warrior not really sure what the hell to really fight for. Since he pretty much took up the mantle for his dead wife it pretty much just makes sense for me.

Woah now, pump the brakes there bucko. Altron Gundam in EW sure is a Dragon Gundam ripoff but its hardly garbage. The best design in wing by far. Take your factually false opinions to the drunk thread!
I'll defend Altron to the end lol, even though I mostly can't stand Wing haha.

Thank you. Altron never came off as being weak to me, it just wasn't stupid OP the way Zero was, that's all and even against Zero it seemed to hold its own pretty well. It seemed to do better against it than Deathscythe and even Zechs seemed to have a problem while fighting it when he got Zero. I hinting the only Gundam on par with it melee wise was Epyon.
