I got me an HG Gaeon, an HG Hi-Mock, the new Revive RX-78-2, and the Amazing Red Weapon Set.
It cost me like, 3600 Yen. No clue how much that is in US Dollars, but I'm happy with my first order from HLJ. Can't wait!

Nope. It's not. Masaru Yokoyama is composing Tekketsu. Hasn't done much mecha stuff at all. Mostly dramas and
Queen's Blade
But I guess he's pretty well known lately for his work on Your Lie in April.
I want the trend of anime shading physical models to continue, because it's just the best thing.

Been listening to the Gundam Wing OST and didn't realize Otani also did the Shadow of the Colossus OST as well. So good.

Especially in the stage where you fight three at the same time.
There was a lot of nice classical music, but that doesn't speak to the composer much. There was music in Queen's Blade? Don't know how I missed it...
After War Gundam X started a bit lame, but I liked the newest episode with the exploding nuclear power plant. Much more downtime for characterization, and I like how poor Garrod wanted to "redeem himself" and ended up nearly getting his ass blown up. Jamil is probably my favorite character so far.
Also, is it just me who thinks the GX is really ugly-looking? Like it looks okay when the wings are spread out, but when they're not the Gundam has a ridiculous L on its back. It's like they could think of a decent way to fold up the wings.

Alright I took a few days break but I started Zeta up again. Currently on episode 29, I have to say Reccoa is cute and all but she's an awful spy jesus. She spent like an hour on the Juptiris which is huge and already bailed after meeting Poppyseed Morocco once. The chance of her meeting him was already small, but why the hell was she so shaken from everything that seemed to be happening? She doesn't seem at all apt to be anything close to the mission she went on, one that she's apparently always picked for. Clearly whoever assigned her was fuckin' up. Which reminds me, why is everybody so damn emotional in this series? I mean Kamille and Fa are still teens, so you know hormones or whatever, but Reccoa, Jerid, that Titans ace guy whose name I forget, everybody seems just to be ridiculously impulsive for no real reason. 4Vagina is probably the chillest guy there aside maybe Emma?
Finally, somebody explain to me what makes Poppyseed Morocco supposedly so enthralling? Dude has a dumb haircut, doesn't seem to really do anything worthwhile, especially nothing that makes it seem like he's competent at all. He's just weird.

Rewatching Gundam X, I'm liking it a lot more this go round. I still think it's a middle-of-the-road series, but I have a better appreciation for it. Paula Cis is totally the Allenby of this series though.

Paptimus can just pimp smack the shit out of females with his newtype bishounen charm, that's his power, get used to it. The moment Reccoa met him her confused female state just dropped to her knees, I also really think that Reccoa really liked it when Paptimus smacked her. I think I stated that Zeta has the hottest women...you forgot Rosamia...god damn she's cute. I know people here fawn over Roux, but she's not my favorite. I just liked Rosamia, Four, Emma and Fa better looks and personality wise. Also Fa really should've smacked the chick in ZZ that tried to steal her mirror cause if Kamille pulled that shit she would've went straight upside his head. Oh yeah Reccoa is a really shit spy, always getting captured. Sarah's actually pretty cute too when she's not fawning over Paptimus-sama's mythical/mystical dick.
The ship's doctor is currently my favorite character of X. I think the GX looks pretty damn cool, but it is currently the only design I've liked in the show so far. The series picks up from the nuclear power plant. A lot of character development and the following arc in the snowy country has been pretty good.
I think Garrod is one of the better protagonists of Gundam. He is still the typical reckless and cocky kid, but he is quick to see his mistakes and mature from them. He's also just generally likable. That being said, I just came from watching Wing where the only likable protagonist was Duo.
Pappy'sneeds Shinhadouken looks so dumb though.
Rosamia hasn't shown up yet where I am in the series I think. And yeah Sarah has her moments, but she's riding Pappy'sneeds dick too much. It's weird.

I always disliked The O in the vs games, plus The Big O is totally a better O than it. Looks better and has cooler weapons too. Dude probably named The O after his hair.

I could've sworn Rosamia shows up earlier than that. Are they on earth yet? Kamille and Sarah have some of the funniest arguments.

It's the only thing that makes any kind of sense to me. The way Reccoa and Sarah just hang off the guy makes it seem that way. Besides it fits right in with some of the sexualized names in Zeta. Reccoa really is a horrible spy, AEUG must be really desperate if they have to rely on her for that, though I'm quite sure she volunteers for them.Really? I thought it was just The "oh.."

The Tallgeese might be the one suit from wing I think looks good, Turn X is cool as well. I still haven't watched Turn A but I've been wanting to just because it seems to be extra ridiculous.
I mean, they can have lady boners for him, it's fine. But jesus everybody else worshiping him is weird since he never seems to do anything that warrants it. Yeah when a series has Qum and Quattro Vagina in the same cast it's pretty suspicious.
I think I'm going to stop trying to figure out why anybody would trust her with these things after the shit job she does. AEUG seems to be run by Char and Bright at this point, which just makes me wonder what the hell they were smoking when all of this was going on given how they were making generally good decisions in the original series.

If I remember correctly Mouar or one of Jerid's girlfriends didn't like Paptimus at all. I think he preys on emotionally erratic women. It's one of the reasons why I think Durandal from Seed Destiny is like the boy scout leader version of Paptimus.
PG Banshee Norn sure is looking good.
Really glad they're doing it as a normal release. Also happy it's the Norn equipment and not the OVA one. I really dislike the railgun and claw. That bigass shield is super cool. Making it really hard to resist getting this as my next PG instead of Red Astray.
On the one hand, I have the PG Unicorn already and the Banshee is basically the same build. On the other, the PG Unicorn is such a great build. Well, it won't be until next summer at the earliest that I grab one anyway. If only Bandai would do a PG of the Nu Ver. Ka. That'd be a dream.

I've given up on Hi-Nu. I don't see Bandai devoting a coveted PG slot to a book-only design, as much as I adore it. I've put all my hope in some variation of the Nu Ver. Ka, since the Nu design seems like it might have a chance with its popularity.

Nu certainly seems to have had a massive resurgence in popularity. Still seems unlikely, though. Ver Ka MG is pretty much all you'll ever need. If they DID do a Nu, I'd want the Ver Ka redesign. At the same time, for Hi-Nu, I would want the light-blue design over the Ver ka design. Just doesn't do it for me.
I've joked that PG Nu is their nuclear option for when they need cash bad... fool-proof release. like Square Enix FF7 Remake.
Seems like Potluck Cucaracha isn't the only one. This episode had Sarah looking very fine showing some midriff, but also had her falling for Kamille's newtype powers which basically made her help him keep casualties to a minimum when blowing up that bomb she set. I can't help but laugh at the way they leave her hung up on a suit stuck to a wall though, of course she escapes but still made me laugh. Also does every gundam need to have a bunch of annoying little kids? Jesus these brats man.
Oh and Mouar died last episode or something.

Kamille loves killing Jerid's girlfriends. I love how Kamille tackled and punched Sarah, I always laugh at that. Just wait till Rosamia comes back...that shit is funny and that's the episode where Fa is probably at her hottest.
While not Gundam I figured I talk about the LBX model kits since I got one of the models I ordered along with some other kits. That and this the only thread that is about models.
