Beauty Run: Probably the best runner I've played since Zombie Parkour Runner. It's free today. Get this game!

I slightly question whether you're stealth talking-this-game-up for some sort of gain, but the description of this title is entertaining:

iTunes App Store said:
Beauty run game is based on oriental warrior legend story. Players can choose different roles, such as Caichen Ning, Xiaoqian Nie, to act and experience the magic world in the game. What’s more, players can easily handle the game, acquire the golden coins from the monster groups, obtain the skills and seckill monsters. More roles, more scene, and more amazing skills, help you challenge this mystical world.

Went through the more recent tweets at Vlambeer's twitter and the Super Crate Box update seems to be perpetually stuck in "probably next week" status, lolz. :( On the other hand I can't really complain much, I was addicted as hell and the delay helped me cool off a bit and stop playing it so much.

I hope the new update supports save states. Last time I tried to gun for the high scores, my 1000+ session got erased cause I loaded too many other apps

I pressed exit/menu instea of resume around 1000. That was probably the last time I played lol. Too bad they can't fix that in an update. I am looking forward to it, I'll probably jump back in and try to improve my scores.

Is anyone else having problems downloading Crazy Hedgy? Everytime I try to install it, it tells me its being modified and can't be installed.

Edit: Looks like someone made a topic about it. Guess I should have done that instead, lol.

Mass Effect Infiltrator, a third-person shooter, is coming to iOS devices. No screenshots yet.

Maturio!! lol

I will probably grab this tonight

I think the guy who made it is still getting crap about it being too much of a Mario clone.

To be fair, I'm pretty sure ghost trick had to do with timing of ds release. Or that's what I keep telling myself =(

Maybe it will come whenever the film gets an international release!

Yeah, that's a possibility. Or maybe AA5 is planned for iOS (at first) and they're doing to do some sort of promo with the trilogy coming out a week before, or something.

This game exist since a freaking while (like some 10-15 other Kairosoft games). What's the indication of it coming soon for Itunes? That forum usually get it right?

Ah, I didn't know. I don't keep track of their games outside of iOS. I guess there is no indication. The screenshots look like they're taken from an iPhone or Touch. But I've never played it on PC so maybe it looks like it on there, too.

Wow, really? That's the first time I've ever been suspected of that. No, dude, I just really am geeky about games. If I really like a game, I tend to like to talk about it. If I really loathe a game, I tend to like to talk about it. Don't play it. Trust me, I'm not losing out on a commission or anything.

Hey Everyone,

My first game is coming out this thursday for iPad2

It's called 'End Night' and it's an open world surivival horror game. Touch arcade called it 'really weird' when they talked about it in their podcast a couple weeks ago.

I wanted to make a new type of emergent open world game, the open world is a really small canadian town, with lots of stuff you need to collect/loot in order to survive. The main mission is randomly generated each time you play.

Basically a virus has turned the entire town into crazed killers, you work out of a small lab trying to discover a cure, collecting samples from infected bodies, and looting shops/homes for weapons and armor.

Made the game almost entirely by myself, using Unity along with purchased mocap/pathfinding/sound/music.

Here's a screen and more info plus gameplay trailer can be seen at www.endnightgame.com

This looks interesting and congrats on doing the whole one-man-team thing, that's impressive even if the game sucks :P Can you tell us a bit more about it? How much will it cost? What are the controls like? How long is the 'mission'? You say it's random each game, meaning you've developed it with an eye on replays, right? If it's a good price I will definitely pick this up just for something different.

It reminds me a lot of my pet idea for a zombie game, where the virus would spread dynamically through a small town as the npcs get bit and you must survive in the chaos.

Hey Jedeye Sniv,

Thanks man, it was a massive project, i think i underestimated how hard it would be when i started. If i get the chance to make a second game i'm definitely going to be building a small team first : )

End Night will be releasing at $2.99

Controls are really simple, a joystick and an aim button, your character when in aim mode will auto target the nearest enemies

The whole game is built around being replayed, so the virus strand youre trying to cure changes randomly, along with placement of key items in the game world, and even some more subtle experimental things, like the carpets changing color in the different houses each time you play.

Tried also to make the gameplay feel really dynamic/emergent, One example is if you kill an enemy upclose, then you get covered in blood, if you have an open wound, you can get infected, so now you need to stop what you are doing and find a bathtub to clean the blood off.

Hmm can't decide if I should get Crazy Hedgy and or Galaxy on Fire 2 HD. I'm thinking of getting Hedgy just because it looks so awesome and polished. Same for Galaxy on Fire though with a PC release looming I'm tempted to just hold out and wait for that.

edit:damn Box Cat and Awesome Land look fun too gahhh.

Don't even bother trying to download Crazy Hedgy. Its still telling me that its being modified.

Wut?! I almost bought it for iPad2 during the price drop but their modifying stuff stopped me and I didn't try again to even see if it's fixed due to the issues I have with it from playing the Lite. With good controls & cockpit view I'd definitely be more inclined to get this for the right price, do they plan to add that stuff or will it still only have third person view and the same limited controls?

Edit: oh, I see they already have a Mac release but nothing about PC yet. How is it on Mac, any such additions?

There's no cockpit view in the Mac version FWIW, and I think the Windows version will just be a port of that.

Congrats man, I love the open wound concept and the replay value! Hope it does well for you :)

I got Steins Gate translated and running, fortunately the game is retina and really suited for the platform. I had to set up OpenSSH with my phone just to do it though since iTunes wouldn't let me install a modified app.

That made me realize that it wouldn't let me install GemRB (Baldur's Gate emulator) through iTunes either, is there any way to get it on your phone through OpenSSH or cydia?

Oh god, Space Chem. I tried playing that game during the holidays and was very sad to discover that I'm not even remotely close to being smart enough to play it. Then I thought about how much money people who are smart enough to play Space Chem make and got even sadder.
