Yeah, when it began I was like, "Yup, here's the original trailer..." hoping it would cut to an upgrade to visuals, but it doesn't even look to have AA.

The crumbling structures look significantly better though. For a moment I thought it was still going to be a PS3 game, but the destruction made me realize it was PS4. I don't give a fuck though because I've been waiting since the initial announcement to play this. I bought a fucking PS3 to play this game... They may as well push it to PS5 lol

Yeah, I do think that they didn't work constantly on this (Maybe a case like SE that poured all their resources to save FFXIV which halted and/or cancelled a lot of their projects) and it kind of shows but it has a nice art direction going for as well as the animation and atmosphere.

It's awesome that they are going to finally release it, a lot of people seem excited for it =3

Also, lol at everyone saying it was boring. The only problem is that whoever recorded the demo took too damn long to do some obvious stuff. This easily outclasses Ico's gameplay, while possessing the scale of Shadow of the Colossus.

Im not feeling it. This could be because I never played Ico or SotC until the PS3 versions, and I didnt care for either due to the horrid controls.

Still, Im glad to see this isnt vaporware. As long as it isnt as bad as DNF, you fans should be sitting pretty.
 
Game is definitely still a PS3-ish game. Doesn't stop the game from being great potentially. A bit rough on some animations but if it's a 2016 title A LOT can improve until ship-date, including textures, lighting and shaders and some animations.

fucking magical. missed this because i was playing destiny, but it's fantastic to see ico and sotc come together for this game. gotta wonder what combat will be like, if there's still knights in the game and if it's trico or trico and the kid taking them out

This looks like it'll be more like Ico than SotC. Which is cool but I enjoyed SotC more. But maybe there are combat sequences to mix it up (as long as they're not lame like in Ico). Still looks pretty interesting though.
 
never understood the hype, game looks boring. BUT! if it makes lots of my fellow gamers happy. then itll make me happy. good shit Sony

The kid looks like a cartoon and everything else doesn't. It's like Who Framed Roger Rabbit. Other than that which is not the greatest it looks cool I guess.
 
IT LIVES!!!

People who aren't super impressed with what was shown, not sure what you guys were expecting. Looked like Ico and SoTC-esque gameplay to me. The important thing is we're actually getting the game soon enough after all these years.
 
People complaining about something as superficial and insignificant as anti-aliasing in a special, special game like this are real arseholes. Ueda is a visionary; we're talking 2016 GOTY here, and most likely one of the greatest games of all time. The atmosphere, the art direction, the soundtrack and animation - this thing is going to be an absolute masterpiece, and you wanna talk about anti-aliasing. SMH.
