I generally don't complete anything more than once and yet in my 30+ years of gaming, TLOU is one of only 3 games I've completed twice. So that's saying something.

I have lost hope for humanity. It's not a new game, it;s not a new story, gameplay updates won't change the core of it. This is why the industry has lost creativity. Just remake/remaster and call it a day. No more room for new stuff. Even if it's a remake, if the quality is high I bet it required a good deal of effort to make.
Ubisoft had to indefinitely delay their remake of The Prince of Persia: Sands of Time after it had already received multiple delays and looked pretty bad when it was shown. Even remakes don't always go according to plan.
Why should they go lower? I bet they will spend truckloads of money for the marketing as usual and there is not much competition. They will sell a few 100k at least for the 70$.

Come on! It's a full remake, not unlike Demon's Souls. If this was a remaster I'd agree. Also, they have yet to reveal the gameplay which is supposed to be similar (improved?) to Part 2.
I don't get why people is hating on this remake. I love the franchise, and I do admit I would prefer Naughty Dog to work on a new IP (which is long due), but I know it's logical. It's the right time to release it. The show is coming and they need to utilize the engine they made for Part 2.

Agreed, seems like Sony's studios has dodged the covid struggles everybody else talk about. And they have more studios and more teams now so it's just going to get better, output should definitely increase.
