Looking forward to playing this, PC edition is probably 6 months later?
No PC mention is wild
ND's past and current projects:
Is it a bad thing? I don't think current version stops workingCharging $70 for this upgrade would be a Sony move
Creative bankruptcy: the image.ND's past and current projects:
4 AAA games with best in class production plus a DLC in 10 years, and a bunch of remasters on top of that? That's good output. Although, like I said, they fucked themselves a bit by working on factions, we'd be close to Part III by now.ND's past and current projects:
4k/60 and raytracing on PS5 at the same time??This game would really shine in 4K 60 fps and ray tracing.
I need someone to explain to me how they're creativity bankrupt even though they have multiple games in development?Creative bankruptcy: the image.
This gen so far has been absolutely carried by Insomniac.
They have 2 new games in the works, one of which is presumably a new IP. These remakes are just bonuses.ND's past and current projects:
They aren't. Its just ignorance. ND is making 2 brand new games IN ADDITION to making remakes of their old games. The output is fantastic when you think of it.I need someone to explain to me how they're creativity bankrupt even though they have multiple games in development?
Haha, so true. This game will be 4k 30fps at most. Performance mode checkerboard 4k. The original ps4 version looks so good, I can't see how much of an upgrade they can do here. I hope they remake it like Resident evil 4 and make quality of life changes instead of a lazy graphic overhaul.4k/60 and raytracing on PS5 at the same time??
Graphical improvements are the best and most important thing about remakes/remastersHaha, so true. This game will be 4k 30fps at most. Performance mode checkerboard 4k. Well, if Insomniac can do it then surely Mr Bean would approve4k/60 and raytracing on PS5 at the same time??
Who doesn't?They definitely love smelling their own farts, that's for sure.

Gaming is dead

It was meant as Insomniac at some point probably will crack it (they are doing more than most with performance and Ray tracing) I wasn't talking about SM2. And at that point, as mentioned, Mr Bean will approveSM2's 60 FPS performance mode is between 1080p and 1440p, drops to 900p when performance is unlocked, it's nowhere close to 4K.
I gave ND the benefit of the doubt and consider TLOU Pt. 1 a significant visual upgrade but nah I'm out on this one. I expect much more from ND tech and PS4 to PS5 visual leap. This may be worthwhile for others but as a graphics guy, it's disappointing.
Uh huh. Fact of the matter is they are most likely working on a new IP, a MP game, and remakes of their old games - Im not sure how thats bad output or creative bankruptcy. People just love to hate ND.Something is, by definition, not a "bonus," when it is the sole product out. That's actually the opposite of a bonus. At this point, and with this pool of products, a new IP would be a bonus, in a strictly numbers game/semantic fun fest.

Judging by cutscenes?

4k40 is all I needIt's going to be only 1440p/60 again isn't it?
Since it has new content, it’s gonna be a $30 upgrade i think,
Because the likelihood is those are pretty much the same, both will be using the highest quality assets especially for close ups etc. so you won't see much of a difference either way.Yes. Why not?
