Someone should tweet ND asking to confirm if TLoU:R's at that event or not. Maybe they can clear it up.
Hoping more folks tweet them and Sony about a worldwide release for that sexy Steelbook

You make it sound like this is Sony putting out ads boasting about it. You're only seeing this stuff because you're either following specific ND staffers on Twitter, or coming to this thread.it was my goty last year and probably gotg and i plan on double dipping. the game already stands on its own and doesn't need this. the amount of "omg 60fps...we are awesome" seems weird to me. i'm going to say i am in the "don't tell me, show me" camp.
please do tell me exactly what it says about me. thanks.
Today I saw someone playing it at Video games story (a vg exhibition in Paris). It looked decent, clean image but nothing more. Don't expect something totally different from the ps3 version. The framerate looked 30ish to me.
If there's no pics then it's bullshit imo. I think Naught Dog is keeping this close to the vest for a reason. I've heard from people in the know that it's going to absolutely blow people away when they finally see it in action and all this "it's gonna be practically the same" bullshit will go away once and for all.
I'm not either, I just think being able to play everything on one system like we used to (or do with the WiiU) means just as much to demand for these as improved graphics.

Hope you're right, but your claim sounds an awful lot like insider talk.

I have yet to play Last of Us or GTA V on last gen consoles.
The PS4 remasters will be the first time I experience those games.
I'm already glad I waited.
You really don't think it's odd that he's saying he saw it being played at some random event no one has heard of before when it wasn't even at E3 and they're clearly still working on it? It takes quite a while to get a playable build together and it seems like ND is just focusing on getting it done.im inclined to believe the guy saying that saw the game, ive said it before many times, the fact that ND is not showing anything of the game being played is weird, all we have gotten are tweets and everyone gets super exited about that, uploading a gameplay video online is not expensive, shit if free, capturing some gamleplay is rather easy now a days so the excuse of marketing budget or time is not cutting it, i have the game preordered but im gonna hold on the pick up until i see some real footage from someone
Well, I was quite surprised to see the game in action in the Sony booth, unless they hid a PS3 in the middle of the PS4s, TLoU on PS4 was well displayed on the show.
I didn't pay much attention much because :
a) I'm not interested in the game since I completed the game 3 times already and I had no intention to replay it anytime soon.
b) I had no idea ND never released any media for the game as the game is supposedly being released next month (which I find a bit worrying).
Otherwise I would have taken pictures and waited in line to play it.
The question is PSnow or not ? It looked sharper and crisper, and we, European peasants do not have access to PSnow...So who knows ? Seriously, I hope that u guys are right and the game will deliver.
I'm with you on this. I really don't think ND would be tweeting about how exciting and game-changing that TLoU is running at 60fps only to have the gaming running closer to 30fps.You really don't think it's odd that he's saying he saw it being played at some random event no one has heard of before when it wasn't even at E3 and they're clearly still working on it? Is it really worrying that ND/Sony are not dedicating any resources to promoting a remaster of a game whose reputation completely speaks for itself?
"Oh why don't ND just spend 5 minutes capturing some footage and put it online?" Because PR controls everything, even things that we might consider trivial. Tweets are probably the most they can get away with.
I'm sure he's not lying, but I'm also sure he's wrong.
No-name blogger previews The Last Of Us: Remastered before the entire world sees in game footage.
Sounds legit.

He's not lying, at least not entirely. May be he saw people play The Last of Us PS3 version on PS4 through PS Now? I have heard people say a few games on PS Now looked crisp and sharper on the PS4 than playing it on the PS3.
What does that have to do with being skeptical about this one guy's story?and that's the reason many times we get the shaft on lots of games, do you really think ND and any other game company for that fact cares about gamers? this is a business, of course they are gonna hype their own game, its scary how some people believe game companies actually care about gamers and their input, we are money to them, them not showing the game is weird, only time will tell

I believe you both!
I'm inclined to believe that an event billed as being about FUTURE HOMES in Europe would probably entail exhibitors showing services they'd offer in the future in Europe.
Like PSNow, for example.
.
Random playable demo pops up at a French gaming expo with no fanfare or coverage whatsoever 1 month before release? I'm not calling bullshit but I'm calling bullshit.
You're shocked that a game is being played at a closed event one month before it comes out?
I was referring more to the second quote, you're free to believe the poster honesty, I decided to do so, for the last time I'll say it, it is very extrange that for a game of this caliper, even tough is a rerelease we haven't had any GAMEPLAY demonstrations at all, just remember how many videos of tomb raider DE flooded the web weeks before release and that got people exited because the game looked great, many double dipped because of this, if you have such a great product on your hands than show it, look at the metro redux games, their were not at any big conference but they did the rounds at the sites that were present at E3 showing them their game, IGN had a great video of the dude explaining all the changes made to the games and what not, that's my point, the game is coming out in 4 weeks and change and all we have gotten is a short teaser, a few minutes trailer and a bunch of tweets saying how great it looks and runs, well, if you're so confident than show it, like I said, my copy is preordered, I loved the game on ps3 and I hope, dearly, that I'm wrong, I hope that their port ends up being as good as they are hyping itWhat does that have to do with being skeptical about this one guy's story?
PSNow is not coming to Europe any time soon, I doubt they even have servers running to do a demo.

I too hope that the port turns out well. The reason I brought up the ND dev tweets is that I could imagine some backlash if the game doesn't run as smoothly as they have been claiming. Maybe it's knowing how they're tech wizards when it comes to producing great looking that I'm taking their word for it.I was referring more to the second quote, you're free to believe the poster honesty, I decided to do so, for the last time I'll say it, it is very extrange that for a game of this caliper, even tough is a rerelease we haven't had any GAMEPLAY demonstrations at all, just remember how many videos of tomb raider DE flooded the web weeks before release and that got people exited because the game looked great, many double dipped because of this, if you have such a great product on your hands than show it, look at the metro redux games, their were not at any big conference but they did the rounds at the sites that were present at E3 showing them their game, IGN had a great video of the dude explaining all the changes made to the games and what not, that's my point, the game is coming out in 4 weeks and change and all we have gotten is a short teaser, a few minutes trailer and a bunch of tweets saying how great it looks and runs, well, if you're so confident than show it, like I said, my copy is preordered, I loved the game on ps3 and I hope, dearly, that I'm wrong, I hope that their port ends up being as good as they are hyping it
When is GAF not jumping to conclusions? (Not everyone)At the current rate this thread is going, I wouldn't be surprised if ND releases a new video this week. GAF jumping to conclusions (dreadful ones) is not good business for any company in this day and age.

E3 was only a few weeks ago and this was apparently only there in trailer form. So yeah, it'd be very odd if it all of a sudden popped up at a much smaller event. You'd think that Sony would make it known that it'd be there given that people have been wanting to see some raw gameplay of it.

What would Sony's roadmap for PSNow in Europe have anything to do with it? Companies often demo products way before launch, and there are no hardware reasons they couldnt have a PSNow server in Europe or even at the event.
I've never heard of this French event.
We haven't gone gold yet.
We're still making updates to live code every day.
I, at least, can tell the difference between the PS3 version and the PS4 version from the opening sequence of the game.

Thank you.
So pumped for this game, purposely skipped it on Ps3, hoping that it was Ps4 bound....
and we now have 2 x Ps4 begging for this game to come.
Don't know how I have managed to avoid spoilers for this long
PS cutting things a bit fine with release in 4 weeks ?
