Yep, you press options and options come up, you press the touchpad and it's a touchpad, you press share and you share. Logic trumps all.

I already played the game and MP tons but I'm still really pumped for this re-release.

I beat it six times last year when it releases in June along with a couple of speed runs! What a game man what a game, during all 6 playthroughs reliving the fate of certain characters brings down tears from my eyes. Naughty Dog truly outdid themselves and they deserve every last bit of praise and accolades for their accomplishments in The Last of Us. And I can't wait to re-live the experience on PS4

Having to use your actual listen mode, aka listening with your ears not seeing with your eyes, makes the game so much more fun and rewarding I think, though you definitely have to play more cautiously. I think that's a good thing though.

I would have loved to do this when I first played the game, but my shit TV speakers ruined it completely. I have the Gold headset now so I'm hoping the virtual surround from it will be good enough.

That's only going to work when they're chewing your neck, I don't want to hear a Clicker in the next room through a speaker in my hands. It's bad enough when the sound mix screws up on Sniper Elite V3 and guards at the other end of a field sound like they are chatting next to you - and that's a bug.

So if our 2 x Ps4 are to play together in same game, digital is effectively half its price.

Arggghh! No, thanks! Everybody makes covers of everything, to the point that it almost makes your forget how moving and beautiful the original work was.
This rendition could have been so much better if the violin extravaganza was replaced by simple sounds...reminds me a bit of of today's singers who take an elegant songs and start modulating their voices, exaggerating the highs and lows, thus massacring the spirit of the work that has inspired them...

Is it to get away from just using the TV speakers or soundbar?
I would assume a surround sound system would be just as well, as long as you are not waking the household up at night that is, but keep seeing post saying to use this headset or that headset.

A good surround sound system should work. Anything that properly simulates surround sound totally changes the gameplay when you turn off the detection mode

Oh, share is fantastic, you won't see me complaining about that. At first I was worried because the official taunt button was gone, but they can just use the touchpad for that now.

As long as you have a good enough surround system you should be good. But in my experience, I feel like a headset is the way to go.

By accident on PS4 I've noticed that pushing X to start still works even if it says push options to start. At least on the games I have. BF4, etc.

Can't recall off the top of my head the other games I use it on.

I'm gonna have to go test on how many games this works on because I know I've used X even though it says press options to start. It for sure works on BF4 and I'm pretty damn sure I've used it on others.

That's likely just as good. I don't have a surround sound system in my apartment, though. I don't think I can think of a faster way to get evicted than that, lol. My neighbours already find ways to complain about my Vita speakers. They're nuts.

This is going to sound stupid, but the first time I played the game I either didn't know you could use the listening mode, or forgot about it. After a few replays I noticed it, but also noticed that I didn't need it, at all. God I love this game.

I hear ya... Was so excited when I found out an Ace Attorney Orchestral album was made... but it totally misses the point.

I haven't played AA5 yet (no 3DS), but what I heard from a demo on YouTube disappointed me too... nothing exciting, and plenty of lameness.
