ACIV and WD are the two games I turn to when I need a gaming fix but don't have anything compelling to play. I love them as time wasters but they really need to hire some actual writers so they can get a decent story and script for once.
Perhaps some cinematic motion blur will help.
Excuse me but its my right to have the option to see this in 30FPS!

I purchased a special hardware scaler (USB powered) for my 4k TV to be able to upconvert this game. I will post pics, and let you guys know my results!

Nice!! I prefer to convert my hdmi to good old fashioned RCA's and connect this to the old 19" tube TV for that "purist" setup but to each his own.
I thought 1080p scales well to 4k regardless since it's exactly 4x the pixels.

The scaler i bought doesn't like 60 FPS games, so if i want to play in 4k, i probably need so set the game to 30fps. Also, the developer of Trine 2 said the Ps4 can support 4k at 30fps and Sony just needs to unlock it. So, as 4k becomes more mainstream, we may see a 4k resolution option on the Ps4 after a firmware update. And smaller games like Resogun and Trine 2 in native 4k.

Not sure how much fun Resogun will be in 30fps - I've played it like that a few times on my Vita with remote play whilst sitting next to the TV (just to test) and it's not the lag that kills it, it's the fps. When you literally have the Vita doing 30fps and the TV doing 60fps right next to it, it really hits home how big an impact it makes.

seriously though - if you guys can wait a few weeks, this game will be down to $30. All these remasters go cheap faster than normal ones. It's already 45 at new egg and it didn't even get released.

Don't get your hopes up for native 4K games on the PS4. If it even happens it's going to be relegated to an extremely small number of them.

Stare at it and it gets the wagon wheel effect. Eventually one can control the direction at will, switching between the two directions instantly. There is an optical illusion like that which I won't google.

This is perfect if we can't have an OT involving ass cramming.
It's very likely that Naughty Dog ran into significant issues porting the original code over from the PS3's cell processor and this Remaster will likely run worse than the original game.
It doesn't get much clearer that this, a stable 60 fps is pretty much guaranteed.
Fuck i promised myself I'll wait for a price drop since I've already beaten the PS3 version and the DLC but I'm too hyped, don't know what to do
