I don't know, the clarity and quality of the textures really takes away from the dilapidated, post apocalyptic feel. Will stick with the more atmospheric PS3 version.

Can the Vita withstand the heat and humidity? If so, Sony should start marketing it as something of an entertainment suppository. Good stuff right there, I can definitely see the device making a comeback from behind.
Just turn the ps4 to 720p mode and you will get get slightly softer look.

So have we figured out why the first footage we got of this game was some dude who got it early streaming it via twitch? Because it looks pretty good if slightly underwhelming. And that's probably because I expected too much. Also the full price debate. This game is easily worth the asking price if you've never played it. And if you have played it you should be able to figure out pretty fast whether the value is there for you.

But I love my Vita! Having it inside me would make me a much happier and better person. Especially if it's streaming TLOUR at the time of insertion.

edit: Just realised the game's not actually out until the 1st Aug in the UK! I'm away Friday and all weekend AAAGGGGHH!
If I order the US version will I be able to play on the 29th? I'd prefer a physical copy TBH so may try and order one from 365.co.uk

The only problem I have is that I have all the season pass stuff and a few extra hats from the PS3 which then wont carry over to the US PS4 version.
I suppose at least I'll get the MP uncensored.
UK pre-order cancelled and ordered from 365. C'mon Mr postman, don't let me down.
Playing local is absolutely fine. No input lag at all playing single player although playing MP may give the opposition a slight advantage.
Playing away from home and the lag is a lot more noticeable.
Controls all depend really. I detest the rear touch pad on the Vita so If they use that for running etc then it'll be terrible IMO. Normally the controls are fine though. Destiny for example is very easy to play on the hand held.

yeah i know i won't be able to get some of the dlc hats but that doesn't bother me too much just aslong as i can get the weapons and play online etc

It's right yes. Personally I'm taking the HD hit to have uncensored multiplayer. Your call. It makes very little difference. Only if you're previously addicted I expect..

Thank you, i really adored the multiplayer back when my ps3 was still working (it killed it). I live in new zealand meaning it is censored + it cost at least $99 dollars here.
It will take me ages to be able to download 50gb.

I think the servers have been pumped after that Destiny blackout.. this game will be tiny next to everyone and their aunt downloading the 14gb beta.. we should be ok.

true although it is a bigger download so who knows how itll pan out...if you have the physical copy singleplayer can be a distraction long enough to get onto MP if it has issues

The guy streaming last night said he didn't notice any framerate drops at all, but different people notice them stronger/weaker than others. So make of that what you will.

Yup that's the NTSC uncensored version. just ordered it myself.

More of a fault of the game design / UI if you ask me. If someone is rolling healer, team-mates should get notification of a symbol above their head, or a 'You're injured, a healer is nearby.' popup.
I know you can always announce it, but you need something more subliminal than that
