Teknoman said:Epic Mickey demo on now, and its getting IR crosshair interference. So thats most likely what was happening.
HorribleJames said:people saying that they wouldn't release a zelda game with poor controls have a very short memory. twilight princess on wii had very very poor controls
Teknoman said:Not for me. Sure the sword fighting wasnt 1 to 1, but the sword swings, rotate attack, aiming, and everything else worked 100% of the time for me, exactly the way I wanted it to.
Same thing happened with Wii Sports Resorts..and other games like the Epic Mickey that was shown just after Zelda...Tiktaalik said:The art direction and graphics looked really good but the motion controls looked terrible. They were everything we expect from Wiimote controls. Unresponsive and inaccurate and certainly not 1 to 1.
It'll be interesting to see if it actually was due to technical difficulties or if it's bad on the floor as well. I'm betting it'll be better on the floor but still fairly finicky.

Spire said:Even if the controls work perfectly, if there isn't a GC controller option I might not play this game. I seriously hate motion controls and this game giving us more of that bullshit instead of some real innovation for the franchise is pretty disappointing. The trailers killed my interest even more than the terrible demonstration, there was just nothing new or fresh about the game. If someone told me it was just a cel-shaded version of TP, I'd believe them.
