I think the pattern was protecting eachother's back.

If you go your seperate way while fighting them you're screwed.

Yes. Each arena corresponds to the same area in the coop game. And the winner of each game has a 50% chance of getting a random common material, 30% to get a random rare and 20% of getting the item unique to that coliseum arena (like the thornberry you just got). So if you need water items you should fight in the water arena until you get everything you need (I still need one Fairy Dust and one Rainbow Coral from that arena for example).

Wow, they whole Friendly Tokens thing is a big convoluted mess. Correct me if I'm wrong but you have to do the following:

- Play via local or download play ONLY
- Accumulate a total of 8 in order to make the two costumes that utilize them
- And can ONLY do this once per 3DS (means if you're using a dummy or spare 3DS you'd have to reformat it)

If I'm wrong, I'll be happy. Can someone please tell me there is something easier about this process that I've missed?
