The Mandalorian | Season 3 Official Trailer | Disney+

AJUMP23

Parody of actual AJUMP23
Finally saw last weeks episode where they go to the planet. When you see a giant creature why go towards it. Don't let it destroy your land barge.

overall it was a fun episode.

Great season finale. The Mandalorian's rocketing into battle was so cool, and that whole fight sequence in the air was awesome. Loved how they handled Grogo and the ending scenes. I'm not sure where it compares to season 1 and 2 as I haven't seen those in a while, but I don't really care tbh. I enjoyed the hell out of it and that's all that matters. Can't wait for Asohka!

Same. Wholesome ending. Although some minor details, like: You can’t follow a flying monster because your fuel runs out. But you can fly into space without problem.

haha, that's exactly what I thought too. Why would they establish that their fuel runs out, and then do a whole fight sequence in the air. At least explain that the Mandos without helmets found an alternative fuel or something.

Overall it was a good finale for a very boring season, this entire arch was just so they regain their home planet which didn't take that long. It would have been better served to see more of the base building Moth did. At least when the death star was built we kinda saw things leading to it.

They could've done 3 episodes and it would have been the same exact show.

Grogu/Yoda's race is extremely long-lived. He could be starring 3 trilogies from now.

Season Finale was just ok to me...

So let me get this straight, Mando easily handles Gideon in Season 2 but in this episode Gideon hands him, and Bo Katan their asses the entire fight and even with Grogus help he still isn't dealt with. The only way the fight ends in their favor is because of a crashing star destroyer into the planets surface and of course theyre all gonna act like Gideon is dead with that lame way he went away, even though theyve already shown their armor is fine with fire lol. All last season and alot of this season they act like the darksaber is all powerful and Gideon just crushes it with his hand, so oops jk lol

Im glad this season is over, maybe season 4 can be something decent again and not rely on just the finale to be somewhat interesting.

I'm retarded?
S3 is a huge upgrade in CGI/Budget, you can tell by the amazing ship fights. Sadly everything else was played too safe. Not saying it was bad, but nothing really incredible happens, no surprises, nothing shocking, and crap villain but I guess thats Disney to blame because now that Rey Shitwalker is canon, they cant take risks with the show. Oh well. I would rather they end it here before they ruin it.

If they do a season 4 then I'd like it to focus on self-contained episodes. Mando and Grogu show up on a planet, get up to an adventure and move on. But obviously the model is for all these shows to link into each other. I just wonder if the audience will get burnt out on that.

The finale was pretty good, which is a relief after how lame the rest of the season could be at times, but "pretty good" also falls a bit short of the hype built up from episode 7 and past season finales. Gideon was better in 7; he came across as more of a cookie-cutter villain this time. I was also pretty shocked at how easily Mando escaped after how 7 ended. I thought they might be leading into a real stunt (like the S2 finale) but nah.

I liked Mando and Grogu's teamwork and ample use of jetpacks. Though I don't get how Axe used his jetpack to travel out of the atmosphere into space, seemed like lazy writing. Whole thing is a bit cobbled together. Good enough, but something was off or lacking compared to S1 or 2 finales.

if? numbers show it has already begun. They need to stop connecting shows and just make good shows on their own. Nobody wants to spend hours to understand what's going on. And you know they are going to spin off bo-katan.

Gideon has a robotic servo-improved suit this time. You can hear the sound during the fight.

Don't think he had one in season 2.

Wow that was an incredible finale. It's really cool see Din be the badass that Boba Fett never was.

The aerial jetpack battle looked insane.
Yeah, the stunt actor coordinating his fight / CQC scenes was bearing John Wick territory, really good, really good. Now watch The Last Jedi and the fight in front of Snoke looks even crappier.

Ya Gideon was essentially Batman's mech suit even had the pointed ears.

Man this season is so frustrating, last two episodes were awesome but they had to smear it with the shit of ep6 for no fucking reason.

But I really like the overarching moral of the season it is very much a deliberate allegory of the state of the US and trying to bring together both sides. They even had a line about how Mandalorian are too powerful to defeat but our own division is what destroys us. The execution could have made this season perfect, very unfortunate but to their credit they did stick the landing.

In season 2 he wore some decent armor, that's it. This time he had an insane powered suit made of beskar and bristling with weapons. I'm guessing it even saved him from the explosion.

Honestly the last episode was somewhat anticlimactic. I was expecting a major death or a big reveal. Felt like they rushed Moff back onto the scene just so they had a big bad to kill off in the season finale. Watch them bring a clone of his back for season 5. Also i kinda enjoyed grogu more when he was in the mech. Shouldve kept him there until he grew a little more so the puppetry of him walking around was a little more believable.

7/10

He'd be cooked inside a metal suit. He's dead.

I want to say he is but everything else in this show works like a cartoon now so why not? The way they did it, it seems like he died but could bring him back if they decide to. Because you don't actually see it, he's in the suit, and who knows what sort of fake out explanation they could come out with. I mean they brought back Darth Maul...FFS

Finale was aright - honestly they should just end the series there, that would be a fine stopping point and the whole show feels like its running on fumes anyway.

My nitpick of the episode - Gideon sees Din & Grogu on some map screen and says they escaped - one of his goons asks if they should intercept - he's all typical villain "no I'll deal with them myself" schtick. Then later he seems all bent because they destroyed his clones - which he had to know they would come across since he saw where they were on the map of his facility! If he cared, he would have sent his troops to stop them before they got there - or at least he himself should know his facility well enough to stop them before they got to the clone room.

This season was sooooo inwvwe. The production and effects were STELLAR, like redefining TV, but the writing continuity was ABSOLUTE TRASH.

Mandos can survive fire, let's show it a half dozen times with those wrist flamethrower , then 'kill' Gideon in a....fire explosion.

Jetpack fuel is limited, orrrrr just casually fly everywhere, why walk?

Hey, these pistols we got don't seem to hurt shit, you know what...KEEP USING THEM, except the one guy who thinks to bring firepower.

Hey guys, imma gonna sacrifice myself to buy you time, let me CLOSE THIS IMPENETRABLE DOOR behind me.....while ya'll blow the tunnel 5 feet away and oh yeah, CRASH A DAMNED CRUISER into the base!

Anyway, I hope they can get a real writer on the show who properly understands foreshadowing, set up, resolution, and maybe grab a combat vet, lots of them around, and do CQB properly.

Dude it’s Star Wars. You’re thinking too deep about this. It’s over the top fantasy. It’s always been ridiculous.

Just watched it and I thought the episode was amazing. Overall the season was disappointing in a lot of ways but there were some great moments here and there

Bah, don't settle. Just look at the RIDICULOUS amoujt of time and money sunk into that show and thr stuff I'm talking about is virtually FREE.

Just ONE vet to read over the scripts and storyboards to catch the tactical and gear inconsistencies would radically improve the show. Just look at the sheer amount of arm flailing the show had to do to get grogu his "yes/no" exosuit FOR NO REAL REASON other than to make a new toy and presumably justify why ig-69 is back in the now scrapped rangers show. That suit needed a proper set up showing that it allowed grogu to do something he couldn't do before and have a real payoff for it.

Mando didn’t take his helmet off for the entire season. Anyone who seriously thinks Pedro is ever in the suit or even on set anymore is delusional.
Just curious, not counting stuntwork, are the other actors like Bryce Dallas Howard in theirs when their characters have their helmets on?

I loved the exo suit. Thought the idea was genius and I ain’t buying toys. That’s me though. When I try to make too much sense of SW everything just falls apart. I always embraced the ridiculousness since the OT

Bryce Dallas Howard isn’t in the show. She just directs it. But for he most part, yes. Pedro just comes in and records dialog and cashes a paycheck while two different stuntmen actually play the character on set.

Fuck, for some reason I keep getting her and Katee Sackhoff mixed up and say one when I mean the other. I guess it's because Sackhoff has red hair in this and I know Dallas Howard does work on it.

This season reminds me of Got season 6, that season was crap except for the 2 episodes, same with Mando.

Yeah I think he's toast too. That would be one too many escapes for gus fringe. Totally understand why people don't believe it though.

I loved the cheesy ending with the cabin and the looney tunes circle exit. Felt like Favreau was going extra hard at the end with the serial cowboy movie finale. Just glad that the mandolorians have a planet and we got to see that sweet sweet Bo ass in spandex.

2nd greatest star wars ass after Keri russell.

They have suits that can deep dive in lava lakes(Vader's suit) so don't be so sure about this one... :messenger_winking_tongue:

Ended up liking the ending more than expected. They really nailed it and CGI was quite good.

Are Mando adventures official over or will they tackle another season?

Also is Bo-Katam really "the one" supposed to lead the mandalorian? The whole baptism scene with Grogu and the underwater beast made me think it's him, not her.

I miss the extended Universe.

Wish we could get a Shaows of the Empire film or game remake. Bring back Dash Rendar you Cowards.
I heard that this version of Heir to the Empire won't feature Luke, Han or Leia though... :messenger_winking_tongue:

Apparently Ashoka will have a big role in this version.

Finally got a chance to watch the season finale.

A Mandalorian Jedi? No one would ever see that coming.
