I don't care about Miller's politics. I just think he's very unfunny, and trying way toooo hard.

To each his own.


Imo, the funniest standup specials I've seen over the past several years are:


Dave Chapelle, "Killin' 'em Softly"
Dennis Miller, "The Raw Feed"
Eddie Izzard, "Dress to Kill"
Chris Rock, "Bigger, Badder, Blacker"


In that order.

The first part was a fan's question. He had to ask Miller to explain a "joke" because it made absolutely NO SENSE.

Yeah, except for the fact that the original joke made perfect sense. Whether or not you thought it was funny is a matter of taste. But it certainly made sense. That particular joke was part of the special I was talking about.


Here's the original joke, roughly:


"They promise you 72 virgins in paradise-- sounds great. But I don't know...I mean, four or five virgins, okay, that'll be fun. Get about ten virgins in and I think you're gonna want a pro. I don't know about you, but at some point in the evening I want a finger jammed up my ass, alright?"


That doesn't make sense?
