I keep remembering more shit that I liked. :lol

Comedians of Comedy the Movie

Brian Posehn, Patton Oswalt, Zach Galifianakis and Maria Bamford on tour. Posehn and Bamford aren't so great at stand-up, but something about Posehn makes him hilarious anyway.

Wedding Daze was a very good movie, me and my wife enjoyed it.

not quite the teen comedy movie you may think it is.

and this was nice.

and office season 3 , luv dwight!

Welp, my initial run through has me with 63 movies in queue. Sadly, a few of the ones I was really looking forward to are Sony Pictures. :/ A few are only available until December not sure why...anyone know what that's about?

seconded.
You have good taste.
I didn't know they offered It Happened One Night. Those old classics always amaze me that the comedy is better than most of the current shit. I feel like an old nostalgic man.

That crazy bastard in the car who is singing
"People in love are often very hungy!" or whatever that song was...:lol

I'm gonna add a lot of those that I missed based on your reccomendation. Anybody with the ones I underlined is alright with me.

It Happened One Night is an awesome movie indeed; unfortunately, it's not available for NXE streaming.

wow they have some great movies up there I was expecting all mainstream blockbuster garbage. I may just have to bite the bullet and buy Netflix.

You should man. It's only 9 dollars a month for the unlimited streaming with 1 shipped to house rental at a time but unlimited times each month. It's a pretty good deal if you watch at least 2 movies a month imo

Do I need to sign up for the 8.99 plan for the streaming to work (well 9.99 since I'd be getting Blu Ray discs mailed to me)

Grindhouse uncut iis worth price alone. Holly HELL.

25th Hour
Clockwork Orange
Dirty Harry
Cool Hand Luke
To Kill a Mockingbird
Killer's Kiss
Treasure of Sierra Madre

Can't believe that no one has put

Cannibal: The Musical

up yet.

If you like South Park, this is Matt Stone and Trey Parker's first film, and it is funny as hell. The production values are shit, but what do you expect, I'm pretty sure they made it in college, on spring break. Great shit all around though, and catchy songs.

The Thing (HD)
Aliens
Sum of All Fears (I know but the ending cut throat scene is so worth it)
30Rock season 1 (never watched, giving it a try)

For anime I recommend Akira (dubbed, but a good dub imo - screw JYB haters) and Paprika. Maybe Ghost in the Shell too, but I don't like the GitS dub.

Movies/shows I've watched and would recommend.

1. Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed (HD)
2. The Shining
3. The Sphere (Dustin Hoffman, Sharon Stone, Samuel L.)
4. James and the Giant Peach
5. The A-Team
6. Action Man: Space Wars (This is GAF!:lol )

Movies that I've yet to watch in my queue

7. Letters from Iwo Jima
8. Contact
9. The Pixar Story
10. 25th Hour (Edward Norton)
11. King of Kong: Fistfull of quarters.

Now that thats done, OP can you condense all these smaller lists into one giant super stream list?

This is the only movie I've ever rated one star. It's not even "so bad it's funny"... it's meanspirited and venal, and so fucking boring.

In other news... watched The Fisher King last night, and an episode of Last Exile. TFK was really good (but corny in parts) and LE was pretty surprising... I don't like anime very much at all but this was enjoyable. Really like the art style.

I've been watching Hercules: The Legend series and Xena warrior princess. They are low budget action/adventure/fantasy flics. Good stuff though. I'm completely addicted. Going to start Outer Limits next.

GitS is one of the few dubs I prefer to the sub. By a vast margin, actually. It just ain't GitS to me without Aramaki and Batou's english VAs.

Love GitS, but have to disagree with you, I know it's a matter of taste, but I find the dialogue in the the show is so awful I need to watch it in Japanese. No one speaks like that in English, NO ONE.

Meanspirited? Mostly seemed like truth to me. Perhaps some stretches here and there but that happens on every side.....definitely worth the watch.

I could see how it could anger/bore someone whose deeply embedded on the opposing side of the argument. (Not saying you are though)

But I think for most people its thought provoking in some sense. Although you rated it 1 star out of 5, Netflixs user average rating is a 4/5...

They Live - get it now!

Hell yes, they also have "The Thing" in HD.

I personally know 5 people who signed up for Netflix last week. I did too. It's awesome.

It's weird firing up my FL and seeing half the list watching stuff off Netflix. This is truly Convergence Box 1.0.

No. No tolerance for creationists. You are wrong. We KNOW you are wrong. Evolution is not just a "theory". The theory of Evolution by natural selection is a theory and has yet to be credibly challenged. A theory has to describe an observable phenomenon. In this case, the theory of Evolution by natural selection is meant to describe why organisms change over time. That they do in fact "change over time" is not a factor in the "debate".

You can not be a creationist without being as scientifically ignorant as a member of the Flat Earth Society.

Among other things, the use Nazi imagery was meanspirited... it's one of the lowest forms of emotional pandering; I'm extra skeptical of anyone who is willing to resort to such unscrupulous devices to make their point. Nevermind the actual evidence.

I'm not going to get into a debate though... you liked the movie? Awesome.

Both of you keep this thread destroying shit out of Gaming Discussion.

If you like this, you will probably enjoy Jesus Christ: Vampire Hunter, which is also streamable.

This thread is about streaming recommendations. Not your shitty opinion. Don't muck this thread up that I am getting good things out of with your OT bullshit. Take that to the other fucking forum.

is this available in the UK? I heard from a friend that you can use an entropay card to sign up, and stream netflix even if you're in the UK.

but does this work, and can you have a streamign only subscription? As you'd have to give a fake home address to sign up, having a physical disc subscription wouldn't work..

get this shit out of here. NOW. this is not the place for your opinion on evolution and creationism. all that will do is derail this entire thread into complete shit. especially a post as volatile as yours.

To whoever posted Red Dwarf:

Thankyouthankyouthankyouthankyouthankyou! I love that show!

But how did you find it? I went through All of the Television, Sci-fi, and British sections of the Watch Instantly list and never saw it. But at your suggestion, I did a search, and there is it is. WTF? What else am I not seeing?

It works for now, you sign up for a standard account with a fake address, just make sure you only add instant watch items to your queue.

It's fun to play around with, but I think they'll probably close the loophole at some point, having so many people living in 90210 must be fucking with their stats :lol.

I've been meaning to watch that. But what makes JC in the Hood so hilarious is that it actually tries to take itself serious.

finally watched Death Wish and Dirty Harry. decent movies but pretty tame by today's standards. for some reason Dirty Harry was in 4:3.

btw, 30 Rock is just excellent.
