That doesn't have "Hear ye, hear ye, it's a pleasure to be hither," does it?

:lol

No, it's all stuff I hadn't seen or heard before. Honestly, it doesn't feel like there that much prepared material in it at all. It's so hard to tell with this guy.

The set wasn't bad, but I was a little disappointed with it.

Yeah, the Purple Onion show is awesome.

And yeah, telling if/when Zach's in character is insanely hard. To the point of, as many have, questioning his very sanity.

I liked Joe Rogan's set better though Zach's would've been funnier than Rogan's if I was there in person to watch the show.

Right now I am watching the documentary on Walmart -- so far, so good.

I haven't seen Joe's in a while, but I'm a fan, so I liked it. He's another who's insane, but in a totally different way. Zach's just like, out there, whereas Joe's fine, but has some fucked up crazy views about things, no doubt due to his insane tendency to uh, experiment.

Street Fight is good. Itsa documentary.

Yeah, I saw that in my State Government class in university. I love it's underdog story; especially since it involves New Jersey and organized crime helping a politician reach office.

Only two problems I have:

1. Whenever choosing on of the HD movies, it starts off fine, but about 30-45 seconds into it, says that my net speed has changed, and it starts and stops the whole time.

2. I'm trying to watch some on my PC also, and there's something going on with Silverlight. Can't install the new version, can't uninstall the old one.

Other than that, cool setup.

Yeah, you need a steady 5 megs to get HD movies streamed. If you bounce around 5 megs, you'll probably get a lot of drops. I usually have one instance when I watch Heroes when it slows down and gets back on pace.

I did not see anyone mention it yet so,,,,

The Flaming Lips: The Fearless Freaks is one of the better documentaries I have seen about a band. I like it how the film focuses on the band members instead of being just a bunch of live performances with little bits of chatter intertwined.

Just signed up for a 2 week free trial.
Wow, I'm really loving it so far.

Just want to follow up with the post that mentioned everything that was in my queue

A Crude Awakening
- A documentary about oil addiction. Not very good at all. I gave it 2 stars on my netflix ratings.

Iraq for Sale
- A documentary about war profiteering. Talks about Blackwater and Halliburton mainly, but it's well put together and very informative. I gave it either a 4 or a 5. Watch it if you're down with this sort of thing.

I don't think you can sign up directly via 360. You have to have a netflix account set up already on your PC, then the 360 software gives you a code, which you enter into your PC netflix account to activate the streaming. You add movies to your queue on the PC and then they're available on the 360.

Well :/ ...better than nothing I guess.
Has anyone canceled from their 1 month free trial yet?
Is it a hassle to call them & get them to cancel?

You can cancel online.

Did it this afternoon online, it's instant.

I watched a movie called 'Sweet Sugar', I think.

It is pretty much a Japanese lesbian soft-porn movie with a silly plot thrown in. Boobs in the first 5 seconds of the movie and a clip from a hardcore porn about 10 minutes in.

I watched 'Cocaine Cowboys' the other day. I loved that movie. Probably will watch it again this week. Great documentary.

i am having the same issue. It seems a lot of Time Warner, Netflix/360 users are having issues. Anyone else?[

Anyone know a fix for the instant movies just "hanging" on the determining video quality part.

Just sits there forever

I'm loving Netflix so far. The Blu-Rays are stunning, the streaming is also top notch. I've just got a couple of questions:

1. Is there any way to see the movies listed in order by the customer feedback scores, rather than what score they predict for me?

2. Is there any way to see ONLY the movies and series which are available for streaming?

I've got a queue so far which includes about 80 movies. I noticed today, however, that about 30 of them have a disclaimer in my queue stating they will not be available after January 1, 2009. I guess I've got plenty of watching to do between now and the new year, eh?

Why the fuck did I wait until recently to watch Weeds? Holy shit! Only the first two seasons were up, though. I have the unlimited 1 at a time plan, and didn't realize they send series out one disc at a time, as opposed to one complete DVD package.

Just popping in to say I'm all watching the first series of the original Star Trek on Netflick before bed and loving it!

Street Fight was an interesting political documentary. Definitely worth watching. I thought Chicago was corrupt! :lol

I saw an episode of Bill Maher with Booker introduced as the Mayor of Newark, so I thought he was going to win in the documentary. I was definitely surprised at the end, and checked Wikipedia to see how he ended up in office.

Lately, I've been adding things I've already seen, but wouldn't mind keeping around, i.e. Aliens 1-3, Karate Kid 1-3, Big Trouble In Little China, The Thing, etc. My queue is like my own personal movie channel. :D

I watched "Outsourced" last night, it was a very funny 'fish out of water' story.

All because of Netflix on 360, I had our Verizon DSL (sorry, no FIOS yet) upgraded to the 7 mbps plan. The difference in picture quality is well worth the effort and the words "Presented in HD" never looked so nice!

Droooooool.

Won't have to turn on my laptop anymore.

Can you sort them? i like to put them in alpha order.

Btw, iphone users if you are not aware, the free application i.tv allows you to add movies to your watch instantly queue. You can't browse genres but you can search and the search have recommendations that branch off, so its easy enough to find content. It also lets you know if anything from your local TV listings is available on Netflix.

Didn't see anyone mention Body a of War. It's a documentary that just came out like a month ago about a Iraq war vet that's paralyzed from the chest down. Pretty sad but worth watching. Great song written for it too by eddie vedder.

My List :)

The Wind that Shakes the Barley
Unbreakable
Chocolat
A Fish Called Wanda
Deliverence
In Cold Blood
Dog Day Afternoon
Scarface
Hard Times (1975)

I'll have to admit that I have just been watching a lot of total shit due to 80s nostalgia:

Charles in Charge
Gimmie a Break
Jake and the Fatman

I've also been watching a lot of Modern Marvels, which then justifies the Netflix account.

The Weather Underground was pretty wild. It's about the student terrorists protesting the Vietnam war. It's was particularly interesting to see their lives nowadays.

I really hope Netflix renews these licenses before the 1st of the year, because I have a buttload of stuff to watch this month if they don't (26 by my count). On another note, has anyone noticed that Sony movies (Spiderman 3, Next, Across the Universe) have gone from unavailable on 360 to completely unavailable for streaming?

The King of Kong was hilarious.

:lol @ Billy Mitchell.

Nothing those nerdy guys did in that movie made sense. I mean it was like a Disney Good vs Evil movie. It even had the nerdy henchmen....

I rated it 4 or 5 stars.

I have just one recommendation

<-------

Watch it, people.

Lost in Translation for you heathens that don't know.

I have a question... maybe sounds stupid but, can someone explain to me exactly what is Netflix and it's advantages on the 360, I know you can stream movies and TV shows, but how do that work, it's the same as the X360's video marketplace? and the pricing please, also, can I download the movies and watch them later or do I have to always stream them?

Thanks in advance.
