My current Queue:

The Game Master: Adventures in Videoland
The Legend of Zelda: Complete Series
Super Mario Super Show!: Mario of the Deep
The King of Kong

Blade Runner: Theatrical & Director's Cut
Beetlejuice
Legend: The Director's Cut
Enter the Dragon: Special Edition
Batman: The Movie
Logan's Run
Of Cooks and Kung Fu
Weird Science

The Addams Family: Vol. 1
various classic Doctor Who serials (Pyramids of Mars, Pleasure Hive, etc.)
Fawty Towers
Keeping Up Appearances
Miami Vice
Pink Panther Classic Cartoon Collection

That's right, I'm streaming Nintendo based cartoons through my XBox 360, and yes, it does feel like I'm crossing some streams doing so. So strange, yet so great! I also highly recomend the Pink Panther Classic Cartoon Collection if you have any Pink Panther fans in your family, as it has over 60 eps.

Great recommendations guys. Keep them coming. I finally build a queue, and now I might actually keep the service.

Well, somebody has to mention Buckaroo Banzai:

The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Across the 8th Dimension

"Remember, no matter where you go, there you are."

Love it.
Glad it's on there.

Watch this people, it has pretty cool (young) cast.

WTH? Added some movies to my regular queue 2 hours ago and they've already shipped o_O" Instant streaming and fast DVD's..why didn't I do this earlier? lol

Only thing I need now is to beg my dad for better internet so I could get HD quality on some movies :\ Having DSL now is like the dial-up of today :(

Oh, and anyone know if Netflix sends movies on weekends also?

Watching Weeds, show is so good. On season two right now.

Will rent season 3 on bru way disc when I finish season 2!

DVD's almost always ship fast. Hancock released today, and I received it in the mail today.

Kama Sutra :bow

This weekend i'm gonna invite my GF over, have a bunch of chick flicks in my queu, have her go through the list, she'll see Kama Sutra, get curious, and we'll let nature take care of the rest.

Any other soft porn movies from Netflix stream list?

So Netflix and Columbia settled the licensing issues? Gattaca and Bridge On the River Kwai don't have that "not on 360 bitchez" line next to it on my Instant Queue.

So when would new episodes of Heroes Season 3 HD go up? The day of? Day after? Week after?

Is House on the service? Office Season 5? In HD or SD.

wow! i just logged in (after using the service religiously for the last week) and my columbia/sony movies showed up! this is awesome, wondered what happened.

I think you're right. There only three out of the eleven that are still restricted for me.

Superbad
The Professional
My Kid Could Paint That

edit: I don't see any time restrictions either, except for Mad Max which expires on Dec 23rd.

From engadget:

Columbia Pictures' movies on Netflix Instant Watch lists suddenly switched to "not available on Xbox 360" are once again open for streaming to all devices. The Karate Kid series, Ghostbusters, Groundhog Day and others now stream to Microsoft's box, however Columbia Pictures movies tagged with the "available through Starz Play" logo -- including Bad Boys and Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story -- are still out.

Just watched King of Kong. Im gonna give it 5 stars. I didnt know people like Billy existed. I thought those types were corny disney made up antagonistic lames.

I'm impressed with Netflix's recommendations for me as well. It's usually something I've seen in the past and loved, or I'll rent it and really like it. Just a great service all around.

They are. From what I hear, the documentary was heavily editted to make him seem worse than he is. Entertainment value.

Yup, I just noticed today as I added Steamboy and The Tick Television Series -- both which were excluded prior to today -- and both appeared on my XBL queue. Looks like many of them have returned :) I'm a happy man now; can't wait to add more movies to my over 80 movie queue.

Bridge To Terabithia made me cry, dammit.

fucking hell. I knew I should have learned more about it beforehand.
ya I totally wasn't expecting that, I still love the movie but hate it too because of that. damn heartless writers.

For the record, Bram Stroker's Dracula is also available for streaming now where it wasn't before due to licensing issues.

That doesnt excuse the nerdy secrets, behaviors, whispers, and tab keeping on the competition.

The lowest plan that this is available for is 1 disc at a time, unlimited per month which includes unlimited streaming. That is the 9 dollar plan. If you're on a two at a time plan, you would be entitled to this unlimited bandwidth assuming you aren't on an older version of the plan that was grandfathered in (even in that case you could cancel and re-sign up and you should be gtg. The only plan I saw that doesn't include unlimited streaming was the 4.99 plan which only has 2 hours of streaming.

Edit: Or was that you are on the one where you can only get 2 movies a month? If so, sign up for the next tier, it's only 4 dollars more a month.

It's the 2 movies a month plan. 4 dollars more is a bit too steep for my current price range. I usually only rent about two movies a month anyway, plus I can always display whatever's on my PC on my TV.

And you know...the internet.

It's not two movies a month, it's two movies at a time. I have the 1 movie/unlimited plan and I can get about 8 movies per month max or about 2 per week if I were to watch them fast enough. It's all about how fast you return the movies to Netflix and how fast they ship the new movies to you. If I were to send a movie back to them on Monday say, they will get my next movie to me by Wednesday.

Related to this topic: if any of you are having difficulty getting good bars when streaming from netflix HD [or SD], or want to make sure you get the highest quality when you stream, check out my post where I figured out how to consistently get 4 bars for HD from netflix from my account (I was only getting 1 bar before this).

the gist of it is, you may need to set your upload speed to 85% of what your max is, as netflix needs the headroom when it tests your connection. a bonus is, this greatly improves xbox live play, especially for hosting.

Odd, In the Footsteps of Alexander the Great and In Search of the Trojan War were both only showing as available until December 1st for streaming, but now they don't have that caveat. I imagine it was a licensing issue, so I supposed they renewed with whomever holds those licenses. Kudos to Netflix. I didn't know how I was going to find the ten hours necessary to knock those two out over the holiday. On a slightly sour note, Red Dawn is now only showing available until December 26th.

Does anyone know whether the Netflix account links to your box or your hard drive? I'm sending my elite in for repairs and I have another refurbished pro I'm wanting to use in the interim. But if the Netflix authorizations are linked to the console and not the hard drive, that means when I get my refurbished elite back, I'll have already used three of my four authorizations.

Any word on this?

I transfered my blockbuster queue to netflix because of this feature, and I was surprised that about 1/3rd of it was available on the instant watch. Thats about 30 movies for those keeping count lol

Pans Labrynth was my first Netflix movie over Live.
WTF did I just watch? That was 100% more goretastic than I envisioned. Disturbing it was.

You should watch The Orphanage, also available to stream. It was produced by Guillermo del Toro, same guy who directed Pan's Labyrinth, and is equally as brilliant.

Not only that, they added the first season to The Twilight Zone! Oh, and Captain N and The Super Mario Bros. Super Show.

Captain N: The Game Master: Adventures in Videoland was already on NXE's version of Netflix and the only streaming version of Super Show is The Super Mario Bros. Super Show!: Mario of the Deep, which was also already in the system. I know, I watched them a few nights ago. They're great, but I wish they were complete seasons though. Mario of the Deep has the live action parts and LoZ ep previews intact (and Dominos Pizza sponsorship reminders), which makes them a good bit of nostalgia. Speaking of LoZ, The Legend of Zelda: Complete Series is up for streaming too, if you're into those previous two shows, you'll be doing yourself a favor to check it out.
