can someone try and use their macbook charger to charge which has a higher Watt on the iPad? does it charge faster?
Uh good luck connecting a magsafe.can someone try and use their macbook charger to charge which has a higher Watt on the iPad? does it charge faster?
How do you get a ticket?
Maybe USB doesn't support that kind of voltage? I dunno about that stuff...
Audiogalaxy does the same, but will let you stream music from your computer to anywhere with internet access. If you store your media in iTunes, use Home Sharing if you want to save space. It'll stream them from your computer over your wireless network to your iPad. No need to transfer anything to your iPad.

Come on FedEx
Where's my $399 iPad 2?? Gotta see this screen everyone has been so pumped about
Hm, just noticed something odd with Flipboard. During page turns, the text will pixelate visibly, and rerender only once the page turn completes. Is that an app issue?
So the new iPad actually gets warm to the touch eh?
Result of the new battery?
USB has a specified voltage, but the maximum current depends on the USB port. Some motherboard manufacturers make a feature out of USB ports with higher maximum current to allow electronics to charge faster.
For others to say that the charging speed is limited by 'the laws of physics' is a bit disingenuous. It's not like they're up against a theoretical limitation on charging speed across all types of batteries. Battery technologies are available that offer much faster charging speeds, but there are other tradeoffs like cost, density, and heat.
My Best Buy must have had a ton. Had 70 or 80 in line when they opened. When people asked how many they had the answer was "plenty" or "more than enough".
I just realized that a new Macbook Pro with a retina screen should be coming out before Diablo III gets released.
It will be glorious.
Doesn't match Intel's timeline.
I think it's a sign that a lot of people pre-ordered online more than it is any potential launch failure. If that's being insinuated anywhere.
I've been waiting for this moment for months to finally read the EDGE mags properly (click images for full retina):
The app isn't yet updated for retina but the images should be scaled, right? Goddam, I can read two pages in landscape without zooming in :0
The only problem is that it's very slow. Some pages take ages to render; some didn't weren't rendered properly at all
I hope the app is updated soon for better performance but I'm quite happy with my purchase right now. The screen delivers.
Right, you couldn't pre-order last time.
Also, won't be able to run Diablo 3 at that resolution.
No you couldn't.Is that some very subtle sarcasm? Because you could pre-order the ipad 2.
First attempt made. Parents left the house for 15 minutes and brother was sleeping. ARE. YOU. KIDDING. ME?
No you couldn't.
Is that some very subtle sarcasm? Because you could pre-order the ipad 2.
Looks like it. Online orders didn't begin till the 11th for the rest of the world.Guess I'm special then.

I seem to have a dead pixel on my screen, bottom 3rd on the furthest 3rd right of the screen.
Whats the policy on this with Apple? Anyone know or had experience?
WTF LOL
Jesus Christ that's fuckin' criminal.
WTF LOL
I think people need to understand that as far as charging goes, the iPad is the same as a laptop. You wouldn't expect to charge a laptop over USB.
Someone can correct me if it's been updated, but I believe in past versions, if you have more than 3 dead pixels you can take it back for a new one.
