I'm not too worried about the long charge times, every day I spend about 4 hours charging my phone before leaving to get to work, and I work for 5-7 hours a day so my ipad can charge up over those hours no sweat.

Apple actually sent two tracking numbers, one for each iPad on the way. They both are showing the exception. The estimated delivery date still says 3/16 though.

FYI FedEx people, a "Delivery Exception - Future Delivery Requested" just popped up on my tracking even though the iPad is in my city out for delivery. I called and the FedEx person said Apple did this to allow for a later delivery (mine says 5:30pm now) because of volume, but that the package will still be here today.

if it says exception there is a high chance you wont get it today.

Email should be IMAP, and thus no need for a restore.
Dropbox will auto-sync all of your stuff anyhow.

I'm assuming that just like the original iPad launch, they'll extend delivery hours until 10pm~midnight and have deliveries tomorrow

At least that's what they did in Canada (where Saturday delivery is incredibly rare)

Modern Combat 3 actually seems to perform better than I remember as well... a little noticeably polygonal now, but seems to be running better at least.

She was going to sell it either to me or someone out there who wants an iPad.

Should I buy it from her? The only reason I see to own this thing is for watching movies on planes. Can you guys give me a quick few ideas on what I might use it for?

I run a small business but I don't do much traveling (maybe 3-4 flights a year). I also own a laptop, a desktop, and a rooted android phone. Am I someone who would even benefit from having an iPad?

I would try it out for a couple weeks and see how it works for you.
It's more a leisure device, makes casual and common computer tasks like email, web browsing, shopping, etc, much easier.

The device is brand new, so even used, you'll get 95-100% of the money for it.
