What garbage. Refs just handed them 32 yards and reversed a fumble. Basically just officiated the outcome of the game.

Great performance by the Pats so far, but the refs' huge intervention in the game was not needed.

If you need an example of where the refs' hearts are, look no further!

Reversing the fumble but preserving the roughing call, after a BS holding call that rescued them from a 3 and 17, no less. Classic.

Chalk that Dillion TD up to the refs. Dillion: "I'd like to thank the refs for three calls in a row..."
Umm...those are the rules. The fumble was CLEARLY not a fumble, and the roughing penalty still applies no matter what because it was after the play (meaning nothing in the play itself has any effect on it).

The holding call I wasn't paying attention to, though, so maybe that one they blew. Otherwise, they just called the game as it happeneed. The Steelers can only blame themselves for an after the play personal foul.

This one is winding down....

Oh please you people claiming the refs gave this game to the Pats... pathetic.

All the calls were borderline. And the most questionable was the one that started it all, the holding call. Even worse, Pats weren't going to get a first down that play, "hold" or not.

Yea once the players kneee is down and has been touched by the opponent, it doesn't matter if the ball comes out or not, the sec his knee touches grass the play is over.

That fumble call wasn't even close to borderline, and like stated above a personal foul (roughing) penalty after the play always gets yards added/subtracted from the spot.

These are not new rules.

The ref's had nothing to do with Big Ben's INT's though.

I know the Pats will probably have a different gameplan but if they sit back like they are against Roethlisburger, Mcnabb and Owens will tear them apart.

Is Owens ever playing in the SuperBowl?

If he does I doubt he'll be much of a factor, he didn't even dress out today.

OMFG, what a pass/catch!!

Wow, it does look like it may have not been a catch after seeing the first replay.
Gotta see this again in slow mo.

I think Andy Reid said that we might see Owens in the Superbowl.
If this is overturned I think we're slowly seeing momentum shift in the Steeler's direction.

That's gotta be reversed.

Sucks for that ref this is potential game changing call.

Nope, that ball was squeezed out of the top of his hands and he needed to press against the ground to keep hold of it.

If you need the ground to maintain control of the ball, is it a catch?

Toughy, but im saying no catch. Looks like he didn't have control when he fell to the ground, gonna be a close call either way.

True, that doesn't look like a catch after seeing it in slow mo from different angles but I suppose it could be disputed since it isn't conclusive.

I say call it a no catch.

Steelers D is getting them back in this. They need another quick score though. My gut is feeling anothr Big Ben INT loooming to kill the Pitt momentum though.

Alright Big Ben the defense did its job... time for you and the offense to do yours.

Uh oh the Bus is starting to rumble!

Well, congratulations to the Eagles. Looks like this was just their year.

I'm very disappointed in how the Falcons played today. It seemed like we got away from what got us to the title game which was the run. There seemed to be too many situations where we passed the ball when we didn't need to.

Despite today's loss, I'm looking forward to the future. New head coach, new offensive system and defensive scheme and we make it to the conference title game. There's no reason why we shouldn't be able to get to the next step soon, which is a Super bowl berth.

If they didn't get the TD, any momentum the Steelers had would have died. Probably the right decision down the line.

that pass play was stupid as hell though. You have 4 downs. ITs 1st and Goal. You have Jermoe Bettis. Run that bitch 4 times=99% chance of a TD.

Exactly, should have never been a 4th down situation to begin with.

n/m, that shit was clearly on the ground. Is Phil Simms blind?

edit: Bad call. Not like it makes a difference. As shitty as Ben played, Cowher killed any chance they had on that 4th and goal call. What a moron.
