I would bet on the Falcons not making the playoffs next year, the same way all the other NFC south teams collapsed. Dawk put the fear of god in them.

Well, guess I'm not watching the Super Bowl this year. Two teams I despise, ugh.

I do feel pretty sorry for the Steelers fans who paid outrageous amounts of money for tickets for the game, though. That's rough.

Good game by New England, garbage by the Steelers.

Next year, who the fuck knows what's going to happen, because it's not going to be Bettis in the house anymore.

As for the Super Bowl, go Pats. Beat the shit out of the Eagles, because they deserve it.

Pitt had a great season... Ben should be proud of what he's done as a rookie... in terms of his skills the sky is the limit.... but the Steelers were just outplayed and outcoached in this game.

The Steelers defense just did a Randy Moss, and IMO if the Pats win the SB they've earned the right to be called a dynasty.

The better team won today. They had the better qb, the better defense, and the better coach. It still hurts, but we got outplayed in every aspect of the game today. We got outcoached badly by Bellichick. Ben had some bad throws and the Pats always seemed to punish us every single time. The biggest surprise to me was how the Patriots manhandled us with our running game. I didn't think anyone could make our running game look ordinary and yet somehow the Pats did that.

My biggest concern is that this loss stays with Ben and it hurts him in the future. Hopefully instead of that it makes him work harder to get back here next year (aka the Eagles).

Eminen, I lost the bet so you can choose what my avatar will be as in which picture of Jordan. Oh yeah, any place you know of to host the image? I am pretty ignorant when it comes to avatars.

Oh well, on a positive note at least I can stop obsessing about football and start looking for a job. :D

Pretty much our entire secondary is in the prowbowl. Brown didnt make it but he was on the SI allstar team. That seems to play a major factor in the ratings. Those pointless awards I mean.

I respect the steelers for bouncing back in the third quarter but Cowher really flushed it down the toilet with that challenge on the interception. No time outs means the patriots went for it on 4 and 1, and then whatever the hell that play was on third and nine to put the final nail in the coffin.

Mr. February has two weeks to get ready for another big game. :)

Cowher is not the greatest big game coach, but it was the whole team that got handled today.

The Steelers won a a team dude and they lost as a team today. Ben certainly played like shit, but he has won a lot of games for the Steelers before too.

Jesus, people are already getting on Ben? The guy is a rookie and made some typical rookie mistakes, come back to me in 2 more years when he totally understands how to run the offense and properly read a defense.

Just like... I did last week...? I said it all season long, during their 15 game win streak.


Bionic: Don't sweat it man, I wouldn't hate Ben so much if people like Matlock didn't like him. Steelers get all the credit in the world from me.

Until the end of the Lakers NBA season. When the Lakers are eliminated from the playoffs, you can remove it. If the Lakers dont make it, you can remove it after their final regular season game :)

But he was not the sole reason we lost the game today, though he definitely played a big part. I mean he didn't cause Bettis to fumble the ball, he didn't cause the defense to play like shit, he didn't tell Cowher to play MartyBall, etc. I am not making excuses for Ben, he definitely played terrible TODAY and LAST WEEK, but that doesn't take away what he did all season.

He actually threw the ball pretty well today except for that first INT, that was just straight out of the Kordell Stewart handbook. The second INT was a decent throw, it was just a bad read and he got baited into that INT. The last INT was a little off, but I don't hold desperation INTs against qbs because you gotta start taking risks at that point.

Oh well, hopefully he can use this as motivation to work harder and become a better quarterback next year. I just have a bad feeling we are going to have a total team hangover for the first 5 games of next year.
