This game sucks, but I'm having a blast watching it because I know I won't have to see one of these teams any more this season.

Poor Jerry Rice getting whored. That's a helluva mark they gave him on that catch.

Was Paul Maguire REALLY just gushing over how well Isaac Bruce takes a fucking dive after he catches the ball?

Great, now we're to the point where "pretty good" players get their assholes licked clean by the announcers. Absolutely terrific. Brett Favre "Just going out there and having fun" throwing interceptions left and right is one thing, but when we are hearing about how great an idea it is to be a soft player and avoid contact, things have gone too far.

Isn't this classic Seahawks choke time? Close game, less than 5 minutes to play.

Best to just turn it off and hope for the best..hehe

"This is a case of running before he has the football"...
...

...

HE WAS TWO FEET OFF THE GROUND. He wasn't even close to turning until the ball hit his shoulder and he turned to watch it fall. It's a case of too many clap drills in practice for Seattle. Does this team have a wide receiver's coach? How is that man still employed?

I hate announcers. So very much.

In the last few minutes... both defenses = asleep. Wow... the only way you get closer is getting tackled at the 1 yard line.... so close to tying the game up....

Wow. Poor Hasselbeck...Probably should have run it in, but still..This fucking team can't catch anything. I feel for all the Seattle fans.

RAMS WIN!!!! FIRST 8-8 team ever to win a postseason game! :D :D :D :D

WE OWN THE NFC WEST :D :D :D

Yes...congratulations. You own the conference that likely would have been won in runaway fashion by the USC Trojans. Good for you.

The worst part about it is that you face the "Eagles" next week, who haven't played in about two months. The Rams very well could go to the championship game.

The Seahawks' receivers looked like the Eagles receivers from last year's NFC title game.

Anyway, now it's time for the main event:

J-E-T-S JETS JETS JETS vs San Diego SuperChargers

We only get the rams if the packers win. It would not surprise me in the least if Farve finds a way to hand that game to the vikings.

Seahawks recievers werent beat up and tossed around. Its really no comparison to what happened to philly last year. Our guys can at least catch when they are open, its just difficult for them to get open. Both teams have shitty recievers that cost them the game, I cant disagree with that.

that's just dumb, no college team could even hope to compete with the worst of NFL teams - you ever see the record for rookie qbs in the nfl. Not pretty

the nfc west wasn't that bad, it wasn't that good either. The records were slightly lower since the AFC east owned us. Had we played the AFC north or something, seattle and the rams would have had 10 wins.

even still, we fielded 2 playoffs teams this year, so i dont want to hear it.

The Seahawks had the easiest schedule in the NFL and went 9-7.

The Rams schedule wasn't much tougher, and they went 8-8.

The Seahawks lost to the Rams twice. Which is sad.

The Seahawks lost to the Cardinals, who lost to the 49ers twice, which is damned near depressing.

The Rams got stomped by the Dolphins.

The Rams lost to the Cardinals.

The Rams. Got STOMPED. By the Dolphins.

The 49ers were winless if you take out their games against the Cardinals. The Cardinals...well, they lost to the 49ers twice.

The division was miserable. Very, very bad. It was quite possibly the worst division ever in the NFL. It produced two of the poorer playoff teams in the NFL's history. You can't try and say this division was anything but pathetic.

Seahawks should fire all of their recievers after that. It was pathetic.

And the announcers said that Abraham wouldn't play for NY because the field was too muddy? This isn't ice skating you pussy, if you can help the team you play!

That's because they tend to, you know, get picked high in the draft. and teams with high draft picks tend to suck.

Also, rooks enter new systems and have to get accustomed to a whole new team.

USC could compete with more NFL teams than you think IMO.

I have to agree with Gash, you can be on a great team in college and be a great player in college and not be able to do anything in the NFL. The only team that USC would have a chance against would be the Niners IMHO. The only reason I say the Niners might lose is because they don't spend any money and really don't even field a normal NFL roster.

Yeah that had me wondering too....But ahh now on to the AFC game...for me this conference is so much more enjoyable to watch.

Mike Holmgren wins a Superbowl with a star cast and immediately parlays that into a big contract with a lot of money. He now gets exposed as a total fraud and he.... Seriously, good riddance. If SanFran really hires that bum, then I feel for you. You fire Mooch who was a decent coach, and you hire the biggest cancer in the fucking world Dennis Erickson. He tained the Canes program, that's all I know. Never liked the guy since. How he still suckers people into giving him a job is beyond me. So if the Niners go from loser to loser and hire Holmgren, then I guess they'll get what they deserve. Nick Saban >>> you. :D

I'm pretty happy now b/c two of my football teams got two great coaches. Urben Meyer to the Gators, and Saban to the Fins. At least one of them has to be a success. PEACE.

EMBARASSING! That was a fucking chip shot. How do you miss that? That's a worthy followup to Ingram's butter fingers I guess. :lol PEACE.

That Seahawks game was fucking unbelievable. That last score by the Rams was given to them by the refs with those bogus calls on the Seaawks CBs. Then Hasselfuckup in the end instead of running it in decides to dump it off to his catch retarded recievers cost them a chance to take it to OT.

You know, a team like the Canes could conceivably compete with a Niners team if they were able to keep all their recruits for the full-time. But only b/c that's been the top team for talent, and even then, they can't field a starting squad that will man up with a Niners team. Even if they have a secondary that can cover average NFL wideouts, they'd get trampled by the run b/c they can't match-up in size. Even the worst NFL team is chock full of some of the best college players. So it's hard to believe a college team could win. I used to think the early 90's Canes could do it, but since getting a better understanding of the game, I can say with confidence that it would be impossible. PEACE.

Normally I would agree with you, but this years Niners team was a disgrace to football. I never heard of a NFL owner being that cheap before.

seahawks and rams had the two easiest schedules? I call bullshit, show me some proof on that.

I could go on talk about the packers getting WAXED by tennessee. Or the falcons letting the chiefs put up a double nickel on them.

and you talk about the cardinals being a horrible team? I don't think so, dennis green has them respectable. But the fact is, we only lost to them cause bulger was out. And btw, guess who else LOST TO THE DOLPHINS. World champ patriots maybe?

The nfc west wasn't any worse than any other nfc division. I stand by that.
