Huh?! Are you kidding me? He stunk it up like he always does. For example on the last drive of regulation Chargers had the ball on the Jets 9 yard line. Madden says something about Gates being a Basketball player and that they should throw a lob to him just like in basketball. Well the Chargers RUN A QB DRAW and Brees gets to the 2. What does Madden say? He says some shit like "they ran the lob play to A. Gates but he run a bad route so Brees had to improvise" or some idiotic thing like that. But the play was a FING QB draw! Gates run to the corner to take the defenders out of the middle of the field.

Now I think on the next play Chargers run with Tomlinson and get stuffed. Madden says some shit like "look how the defenders(the DL) go low on the block to get push and stop the rush". Well, they show the replay and ALL the defense line is standing straight up. Its like he's watching another freaking game! He makes so much BS up its unbelievable. I can't stand him.

anyone saying that now meaningless roughing call shouldn't have been called is flat out wrong. a penalty is a penalty anytime during the game, whether it's the last play or the first play. hell, all he had to do was push brees, let alone elbow him to the head.


and soulja, sorry to tell you, but your division was in fact miserable. no matter how you look at it, it was just horrible in every way.


yeah, and Madden sucked as always. on that Gates TD he kept talking about how gates made a "basketball move" to get open. WTF? he faked inside and ran an out. there was nothing even remotely basketball about it. and wtf is a basketball move anyway?

Steelers have a bad habit of losing playoff games at home + add a rookie quarterback and you never know. The Jets played the Steelers well this year but f'd it up in 4th quarter. The Jets can win against Pittsburg in Pittsburgh. Be careful. The spread against the Jets in tonights game was 8 and no one gave them a chance. They have a great defense, a very accurate quaterback and two great runners. They don't turn the ball over and are one of the less penalized teams in the league. They can win next week.

I agree they have a great defense, but they will have no chance in Pittsburgh unless Big Ben chokes and starts throwing INTs. Being a Messiah and the greatest QB of all time, I highly doubt that will happen. Jets can't run in Pittsburgh, Chad would have to have the greatest game of his life to win that game. I just don't see that happening against a rested Steelers defense.

Yeah. A lot of people underestimate the Jets because they're somewhat inconsistent at times. But they can hang with anybody in this league.

I don't think they'll win, but they're going to make a game out of it. And of course, the Colts still have to win in order for the Jets to play the Steelers anyway.

i always get scared on sure things....but i'd risk a permaban on the colts winning tomorrow. denver has no chance playing on that turf.

Threw two interceptions in three games, actually. Baltimore (Which doesn't really count...Cowher didn't even want him to throw the ball), Jets, and Giants. Actually, the Jets game was easily his worst. But the team still won, in a convincing manner. The Jets offense couldn't do anything against the Steelers D, and the Steelers ran the ball well enough.

Plus, if worse comes to worst, Bettis will just go under center. He had a near-perfect rating against the Jets last time.

Burress wasn't in that game. Pitt's passing game and the offense in general is so much better with Burress in there.

I feel sorry for Marty, I genuinely do. But thems the breaks. Though the Jets did play them well defensively, the Chargers looked consevative, even pedestrian for 56 minutes of this game.

Two small streaks began today -

both away teams won
both teams who had previously beaten their opponents this season won

Will either of these streaks continue tomorrow?

Yep but the Broncos (I like them a bit more) are too weak to face the Steelers or Pats so this is for the best :D
