He is just slinging and slanging Interceptiions all day! I would have loved to see how the ESPN announcers defended Farve today.

I knew Farve would do his best to lose this game.

Lookin' good out there, Favre. :| Way to be, guys.

We're not out of this yet, though. These are the Vikings we're playing. I'm frustrated, but it's not over yet.

If by Favre you mean the "porous, 25th ranked, completely fucking awful Packers defense," you'd be correct. You shouldn't waste your time, you have a lot of excuses to come up with for when the Eagles blow it again this season.

Well the FOX guys did a pretty good job. Convinced me that last int wasn't his fault anyway.

favre needs someone else to die now? how many people have to suffer for him to play good?

Holy hell, dude, I knew you guys would be acting up on the board.

OOOOHHH SNAP, LAMBCHOP!!!

What the fuck? Brett's hopped up on the painkillers again, isn't he. He was a good twelve steps past the line.

wow, good job, favre. i guess that's the john madden favre, always thinking he's on the playground. not only did he cost his team a down and a loss of 5 yards, but the FG was just missed, too.

:lol :lol

I'd much rather take a loss of down, and a missed field goal, than Favre diving in towards the end zone and seperating his shoulder or something. But I guess I'm the only one who would dislike him getting injured, right?

Don't make jokes. He's old. He very well may have just had a stroke, or broke a hip or something.

:lol :lol :lol

if hasselbeck or someone else makes that throw that whole crew would be like "that's just a dumb play. totally unacceptable, and it backs your kicker up 5 yards."

with favre:" gosh isn't that great? are you kiddin' me? he knows it too. he's just smilin and laughin and havin a good ol' time out there. how much fun is he having out there today?"

Not diving at the end zone is one thing. Throwing the ball like that when he was that far beyond the line was just stupid. If he didn't think he could make it into the endzone, he should have slid. As the announcers mentioned through the laughter, if it were an interception then it would have stood regardless of the rules infraction. It was a stupid move, it was quite probably the worst move possible in that situation.

Yeah there is a lot of Farve hate these days. I don't get the love or the hate for Farve. He was a great player, but I mean it isn't like we are talking about Ben Roethlisberger.

How about..."It's the reciever's fault!"

Two 1st half interceptions against the 2nd to worst defense in the nfc, a team that almost never wins outside of a dome. Farve is Plummer, they both can throw the ball well but make horrible decisions that cost their teams the game. I dont see Dante out there throwing picks, your defense is ranked higher. That penalty before half was just horrible. You know your beyond the line, slide and make it eaiser on the kicker.

Big difference is that there was a long period in Farve's career where he was under control and he was also the best qb in the game for a few years. Plummer has never played under control and probably never will.

Man, it seems like people forget that Farve was a really great player for 5 or 6 years because he is making Plummer like decision again as he did early in his career.

Im sorry I thought we were talking about present time.

Yeah at the present he is a moron, but I don't think the haters should act like he was always playing like a bum (like Plummer). Emmit Smith is not even an average running back anymore, but he was one of the greatest in his prime.

Time for Green Bay to start training his successor if they are smart.

They've been trying to train his successor! They wanted Kyle Boller and JP Losman, in addition to how many starting QBs in other cities that were once his backup. He just won't stop playing. They'll certainly get a quarterback in this year's draft, but the pool is pretty thin. Charlie Frye/Kyle Orton is likely, and neither really looks like a great future.

Well, that about wraps it up. :/

Favre is a shell now of who he was between '94-'98, but I'd still much rather have him lining up behind center than Plummer, McCown, Bledsoe, Garcia, or almost anyone else in the league.

The Quarterback Challenge on the NFL Network right now is better then both playoff games today (unless you are a Colts/Vikes fan).

The packers still have a chance thanks to the vikings being a horrible team imo, its just a question of how much more damage Farve can do before he decides to make a play.

Alright so the Pack suck today.

Of better note is how funny that one NFL network commercial is.

"Ricky Williams only cares about the game"
"Gannon to Tim Brown, Gannon to Jerry Rice all season!"
"Who's that guy the Steelers drafted? Way to go Cowart"
