It doesn't matter how a Zaku or a GM is going to deal with that because UC isn't about normal people fighting newtypes. UC is about newtypes killing other newtypes and people trying to make newtypes even better at killing other newtypes. Heck the entire point of Unicorn is that it turns a newtype into a weapon specifically for killing other newtypes.
tl;dr - if you aren't a newtype then it's not really important what you think or want. If you are a newtype then I sure hope what you want is to kill other newtypes because it's not important if you want to do something else with your time.
But just imagine how much it sucks to be a rank and file dude in that kind of world. I mean, wouldn't you question the meaning of getting into your whatever mech to help Londo Bell if you knew that odds were you'd die in the crossfire between a Gundam and something else?
Unless this is Zeta Gundam or Stardust Memory, what are the odds the Gundam isn't on the GM's side? Shoot, even in Zeta if you're an AEUG GM pilot you're ok.
Even on the rare occasion where Gundams are stolen by enemies and not returned, there's always another (usually better) suit that they forgot to nab or had to leave behind, like the Astray Frames, the Strike or the GP-01.

Well that's the thing about humanity and war. The prospect of death hasn't stopped millions of people coming together in a singular goal of killing each other for thousands of years.
I have the Fix Figuration Full Armor, but it's basically a non-poseable, beautiful brick.
Not into plastic models, so the Robot Damashii is the next best thing. And they'll probably release the Gundam Sentinel FAZZ version later on as well, since it's mostly a recolor.

Build Fighters Universe your Life Expectancy is at least higher than 25. It would make the most sense. Plus Gunpla is more widely obtainable worldwide and not as supply and variety constrained.
What I dislike about Unicorn is how manufactured it feels. It's hard to point at any one specific example, but when taken as a whole it feels sort of empty as a story on its own. It's a big UC project, it has tons of throw backs for UC fans, lots of reference porn in the designs of the mechs, there's this constant feeling that they're trying to take everything that people liked about various UC shows and UC designs and make it "bigger and better" but without the same passion. There's something very workman-like about the entire production even though the production values are very high and it pushes the right buttons sometimes.
Not even close, I would much rather live in Build Fighter's world.
UC is probably one of the most terrifying settings I can think of, which is probably why I like it so much.
On one hand, you have humanity finally living in space, and all of the optimism and what not that comes from expanding into a new frontier.
On the other hand, you have to deal with near constant warfare. One of the wars was so brutal that half of humanity is dead before the first week is up. That kind of bloodshed is unfathomable. Furthermore, immigration to space isn't voluntary. People are forced to leave their homes, rather than go willingly. Your government is corrupt, and bloated. The other side is worse.
I finally got to beat Maxi Boost at an arcade without being interuppted and destroyed by other dudes. Something always went wrong. The cabs have reset on me, I've been kicked out, and just challenged by other players every time I tried to play Full Boost. Finally.
Also, I saw some cool Gundam guitar straps when I was in a guitar shop earlier today.
Haha. I went to purikura with friends, then decided to play Gundam while they played something else, but it ended up being past midnight. Since I'm a foreigner, and Japanese people are generally quite polite, the employee was watching me for like 10 mins before I finally asked him if it was closing time. I wonder how long he would have waited...

I don't really agree with this but especially the bolded. Unicorn is very blatantly a labor of love, and wears that on its sleeve. It's also an extremely well-directed series, particularly by Gundam standards, which often misses the mark on its emotional beats because its directors (well, Tomino) don't know how to capitalize on that shit.
UC is easily one of the more richer, fulfilling productions in the franchise. As a big fan of Universal Century Gundam, I'm really enjoying how UC deconstructs but also celebrates that era. It's sort of a self-aware "Gundam's greatest hits" package; it indulges in tropes but also makes a point about how/why they're tropes and their importance to the franchise as a whole.
Full Frontal being a clone of Char
is the biggest example, but there are lots of others too.
I would love an OVA/Manga that covered that period, if only to answer the question "was Turn X made by aliens?" I also want to see the insane nano-machine systems of Turn A and Turn X in full action.

Knowing how tall it is in number is one thing, but seeing that Neo Zeong kit in comparison to other things really show just how crazy huge that kit is.

I wish it had nothing underneath the skirt, just remove those propellant tanks. Being a legless mobile suit was one of the most novel things about the Zeong. Sure they're not exactly legs but they still give the illusion of having them.
I think it's more because people still tease Duckroll for being wrong about AGE. At least Chinner has stated several times that Duckroll told him that AGE would be good.
I'm genuinely surprised by this show's willingness to portray the corporation behind Gunpla as super shady. You'd think that would go against its toyetic mandate.
PPSE isnt the creator of gunpla. They just make the plavsky particles and battle system
. Pretty sure bandai still makes them, though theyve never said for certain.
Gundam X time line is pretty much the aftermath of a worst case scenario of a UC conflict.
I love how it plays with and deconstructs the concept of newtypes within the franchise.
It's a shame it's so tragically unpopular among the fansbase and seemingly hated and mishandled by sunrise. Easily one of my favorite shows in the franchise. Definitely top 5 gundam material. Probably top 3 for me.
