GamesRadar: Were you able to hold up against the Bungie folks? Just how good are they?

Fran: Let's just say that these guys could certainly put the hurt on all comers. Luke Smith (Content Manager on Bungie.net) is a monster in pretty much any game type, but actually all the guys were pros. Did we hold up against them? Not really, but I won't speak for Ryan - he held his own. Me? I did pretty lousy - but I blame not knowing the maps. Haha. That's me putting the "spin" on my suckage.

Luke == Awesome confirmed?

I don't think we need a seperate thread for this Update. :lol

The new figurines are heart-breakingly awesome. And also wallet-busting, so I'll be content with the Spartan helmet that comes with the LE. New Bungie.net is utterly awesome, I can't wait until we see more of it.

Added the pic of the new b.net and the interview with Fran from OXM to the OP. I'm smacking up against the text limit, so I've cut some of the superfluous text, and will make other trims as needed going forward.

I didn't even know there was a text limit. Do italics take up more room because they're all slanty?

All text, including the formatting tags, count. You know you've hit the limit when you make an edit and it doesn't save - just revert back to the previous version. They you hit the edit button - and there's nothing to edit. Blank slate.

I learned the hard way during the Beta thread, when I wasn't backing up the OP offline. I lost it all and had to copy/paste into notepad and edit the links and formatting back in.

I'll add links to m0dus' Thread Updates next. Perhaps Tieno would be kind enough to add the wallpapers in his growing post of win?

A tad more in the way of Sinic features yes - that is to say the eyes - but I think the model looks hotter now. Still, I'd rather they just did an accurate rendering of Jen's face for Cortana. I think she's rather pretty.

This has probably been answered, but in co op can you play as 4 players that aren't 3 elites? like 2 humans and 2 elites? I remember in the e3 2007 trailer they had a part where a bug lifted a dude that looked like he had spartan armor but no helmet.. so i'm wondering if thats what that was.

Its not a huge deal either way.

Player one controls the Master Chief, Player Two takes on the role of the Arbiter. Players three and four play as Elites, named N’tho ‘Sraom
and Usze ‘Taham, respectively. These two new characters are described in Bungie's co-op announcement.
 
I've never been the action figure type... Not much of a collector, but those guys look fantastic. What are those things going to run for? I can see them being realisticly around 75 bucks on up, but I honestly have no idea what something like that would cost.

(just got back in from indy and my ass hurts from the pounding peyton gave me, probably the most fun I've had going to a football game and losing horribly though, ever. Good people in Indy, decent food, and us new orleanians can drink, of which there was no shortage. Seriously though, Indy needs to learn the fine art of tail-gaiting. The South does it best. Good times all around though. God the saints looked terrible, I think jason david forgot which team he was playing for.)

This thread is looking sharp. Props modus.

They'll be much more affordable than that. GameStop charged $14.99 for the Halo 2 figures and aside from deluxe sets, I've never paid more than that for any of the McFarlane figures I've owned. I'm betting these will be right around there. They need to be in that "impulse-purchase" price range.
