Wow, based on the name I thought this would just be a port of the DS launch title, but it's a whole new game, kind of in the style of the Track and Field DS game from a while ago. Also, having Robbie the Rabbit from SH as a character is pure win, though he doesn't look as creepy as he should.

Wonder who the ten characters are? I can see Robbie, Goemon, Frogger, Sparkster, Antarctic Adventure penguin, and Power Pro guy from there...

I remember reading somewhere that gift cards don't work in different regions. I would be glad to be proven wrong on this...

I loved this game on my Mac, I loved it on my 360 and I still love it on my iPhone. Multiplayer was fun on 360, and I'm excited that it's on iPhone now but I haven't found anyone to play with :/

"Mediocre" is a bit excessive, it's still one of the nice freeform TDDs out there and the updates have been pretty nice.

Once geoDefense Swarm hits there probably won't be any reason to play it anymore, but until then if you prefer freeform TDDs to fixed path it's a pretty nice one, and it looks very good.
 
FieldRunners is still the best non-geo td game out I reckon, definitely worth a look if u like td games.

Not to knock anybody because we all are entitled to our opinions but it annoys me when a game that is liked by a lot of people gets one negative opinon from a person in this thread when you can find 20 positive opinions in the opposite direction and that's like the clincher for them.

There is no game in the world that is going to get universal praise from everybody.
 
I thought Plus+ is a NgMoco thing? Is it opening up to other developers cause I definitely like it more than the other social/achievement systems. What's the word?

They have opened it up to other devs to use. Flick Fishing and Luxor currently use it in addition to the ngmoco games.

Hmmmm ... I work at an ISP. I have several IPs and email addresses at my disposal.

Of course I also have a life and don't want to spoil it for everyone else. I'd be satisfied if they would just reply to my one submission. :)
 
I'm finding Power Pros fun for what it is...no where deep as the console games but fun for a quick casual play on the iPhone. I'm happy with my buck spent :lol
 
I got Power Pros because I heard it was better than Baseball Stars (which I didn't buy). I've played the console version and liked it, but the iPhone version has really, so far, left me cold. Granted, I'm not a huge baseball fan, but I'd rather play Baseball Slugger than this.

Re: Luxor... I downloaded "Stoneloops of Jurassica" for my wife. Is there any reason why I'd want to get Luxor?

anyone else do the survey, and are still waiting on the iTunes GC? I did mine on Friday, emailed them, and I've had no response. wondering if they are a Mon-Fri organization, or what.
 
Guys I've been thinking about getting a ipod touch do they work the same way as a iphone? Do they have Apps! I now about the shitty 19.99 firmware update, I really don't want to get one because of that, but I guess that is why it's $229!

Yes they basically work the same as iPhones, but wait with buying cause new versions will be announced in september. :)

What Gunstar said. An iPod Touch is basically an iPhone without the phone, GPS, camera, and microphone. It still has Wifi, it can play all the same apps (long as the app doesn't require a camera or something), etc.

And there is a good reason to wait, because a few months ago Apple released the iPhone 3GS, which is quite a bit more powerful than the older iPhones (by a HUGE amount). In the past, Apple has always released an iPod Touch equivalent to the previous iPhone in the fall, and there are rumors of an upcoming Apple press conference in the next couple weeks. So chances are they will be showing off a new iPod Touch that is also quite a bit more powerful than the older ones. And there are rumors this time it will even have a camera built-in.

You only have to pay for major OS upgrades that come out after you've purchased the Touch. Assume one a year.

As they're $9.99 each, not $20.

Blame the accountants.

I liked it. Closest thing to Diablo. Try the lite version. Going to wait for next version with 50 lvl cap instead of current 10.

I've never even heard of Harbor Master but there is seriously no way you can go wrong by spending $0.99 on Flight Control.
