It is going to be tough waiting out a year with brand new apps that I can't use but I'm not going to give in and just wait for next year's model.
Yep. Peggle was in danger of slipping out of the Top 50. This guarantees a boost in popularity.Zzoram said:I don't think there will be a fire sale any time soon on The Sims 3 when it's a top seller in every country that iTunes supports.

Fucking C drive having less space than the D drive, things were lost in the move because I am an idiot. I emailed Apple asking to redownload them all again, I hope this can be fixed smoothly.
Also thanks for the Peggle update, I'll definitely pick it up.

Holy shit, wtf is with this Sally's Spa thing? It had a price drop to $.99 which boosted it to #1, overtaking The Sims 3. Peggle's back up to #14.
Been out since monday, I even made an official thread but it got no loveFlo_Evans said:REAL RACING is finally out!!! OMG! downloading it now.

Flo_Evans said:opps! I haven't been paying much attention.
Quick impressions: Graphics are downright amazing for a mobile phone game. Physics... I wouldn't call it anywhere near "real" but it does feel pretty good. Sort of reminds me of Grid, or PGR, you have to brake but not really that much.
I have a feeling this is not going to touch GT PSP, but IDK if that is a realistic expectation or goal to even strive for on an iphone game.
Fun so far, need to unlock some more cars and tracks.

The controls suck.
jonnybryce said:It's a long shot but I've seen crazier sites: Is there a website that hosts iPhone app icons? A bunch say SALE or FREE or UPDATED and I would rather they didn't. I feel like I'm not the only person who would feel this way.

jonnybryce said:My first iPhone will be on the 19th but my brother said that it's the icon on iTunes is what you'll see on the iPhone. He could be wrong, he doesn't download too many apps and I don't think he's downloaded any from the computer.
However it would be pretty simple, the icon appears to be just like album art which can be changed by right clicking. Maybe I should start a website.
The sale/free&co icons are displayed only on itunes, so... who cares?jonnybryce said:It's a long shot but I've seen crazier sites: Is there a website that hosts iPhone app icons? Maybe another day.
I don't buy many games at once :/
I can awnser the last bit, the default tunes are the sort of things you would expect from a korean game, a bit anime-ish but I like it, they are repeated a LOT so they do get boring.dLMN8R said:So my questions about Zenonia a couple pages back weren't clearly answered...
-Can you play the game with your own music?
-If not inherently supported, does the "start playback/start game/lock device/start playback" trick work?
-Are there sounds or music in the game worth listening to instead of my own stuff?

Thanks! Though I just read that there's an update they already submitted to Apple for review that adds iPod functionality built-in, cool beans.Flib said:-No

Since Peggle's price dropped (I just grabbed it), Taxiball's sales have gone up substantially! I was like, WTF?!? until I realized that one of our players posted the original slickdeals post and in the same post, noted Blimp and Taxiball as other games that were on sale for a buck! So Peggle's price drop has ended up helping us out a lot!
Talk about weird! But awesome!
On a totally different note, since one of the things that Taxiball's players have responded to really well was the all-vocal audio track...
Our friends at Instructables have been running a contest called "The Art of Sound," where you post an Instructable about something audio-related. I wrote up a bit about the evolution of the audio in Taxiball here:
http://www.instructables.com/id/A-Case-Study-in-Creating-Videogame-Audio-Taxiball/
If you're interested in a peek behind the scenes, I hope you get a chance to check it out.
Lemme know what you think!
Thanks!
