It's a great game - easy on the eyes, sounds pleasant enough (does it support iPod streaming?), good monster variety, good gameplay mechanic and moves along at a nice clip. You do need to grind for money/potion/equipment but it's no big deal and is quite fun. I would like a map though. It's the one thing I miss.

Maestro! Green Groove was released a few weeks ago. Pretty fun game for $1
Play your own. It supports custom soundtracks in the latest update.Jonnyram said:I am trying to play Space Miner, but that music is absolutely vile![]()

Main one I remember being mentioned is Isotope, but there was also geoFighter...and I'm sure a whole bunch of others. Another one (albeit less Geometry Wars like) is PewPew.GodfatherX said:need some help remembering an app
co-op talked about a game a few months back that was like geowars for the iphone..but i can't remember the name of the game and searches have returned nothing..I'm pretty sure its not antimatter or Occurro...help would be much appreciated
I've just played it, and I couldn't pass the second level because it was so fast, and my finger was too big. Bit of a waste of money there; game looks wonderful, but maybe could do with being a bit kinder than the DS version was.zigg said:I imported the DS Maestro! game from Europe and if changes haven't been made, I just can't see it working without a stylus when you get to the other worlds. Green Groove might be okay because it's not nearly as intense.

It's Dpad movement still but you can move and adjust the layout, probably disabled for those screens.quetz67 said:I see no dpad in those screens, is it now fully controlled in a more touchscreen friendly way? I hate all dpad games.
thanks...to bad!Diablohead said:It's Dpad movement still but you can move and adjust the layout, probably disabled for those screens.

I sold my first generation iPhone some years ago and haven't had an iPhone since. I'm preparing to buy the next iPhone this year and thus, I am adding applications and games to my iTunes wishlist. Price or free doesn't matter, which games and applications are the must?
So far I added these:
GAMES
The Sims 3
Sim City
Tetris
Real Racing
GT Racing
Plants vs Zombies
Modern Combat
GTA: Chinatown Wars
Zenonia
APPLICATIONS
In the meantime I'll read through this thread again, even though there's a lot of pages.

I hope there's some nice strategy games (without too much war going on) as well, now that Sims 3 and Sim City apparently aren't worth it.
Oh btw, I bought Tetris a long time ago. Now I'm looking to add it again, can I just click 'Buy' - there's no 're-download' - in the App Store and it won't charge me? (as I bought it months ago)

Nah, but i'll shut up about them now.Weenerz said:Do you work for the devs of GT Racing or what? You've been pimping that game FOR MONTHS.

I wouldn't consider there to be any clear "musts" cause those are subjective as hell.Anastacio said:You guys absolutely got to help me, just a little bit if got got a minute.

Warpgate is a space conquest game with tons of ships to pilot, factions to fight with, planets to take over, and a string of missions that expand the plot of the game which are supplemented by randomly generated missions that players can accept and complete as many times as they want to always have something to do.
