I'll admit there may have been 1 too many slow songs on the record, but Welcome to Heartbreak was not the track I would've changed.

Ugh, I loved the latest version of Robocop, this is too much though.

EDIT: The ending :lol :lol was not expecting that.

EDIT 2: Hearing the other two songs, not too big a fan of Say You Will or Bad News. Coldest Winter, Welcome to Heartbreak and Street Lights are still my favorites off the album.

I am shocked by how much I prefer the original leaked version of "welcome to heartbreak". so glad I followed the leaks on this album. The new version and its faster tempo, piano bits (synth fit in better) and extra drums, feels way overproduced :(

Ugh why did he put autotune on Streetlights? It sounds like it's being played on a bad stereo.


edit: alright my mind's playing tricks on me, or he made the autotune more noticeable.


edit: alright, it's gotta be the equalizer on the zshare player because love lockdown has weird bits higher up in the mix too.

Yeah, it's supposed to be live. Supposedly, Beyonce told Kanye that he should put the freestyle on his album as a track and at first he said no, but she kept bugging him and he eventually agreed and put it on. That's why we didn't hear about it until recently.

Man, I wish it didn't have the people screaming, this is probably the best track on the record.

nice...... But some of the songs on the list are bad quality or just cut off in the beginning so I doubt they are finished quality...

streetlights has some added distortion to the background. i dont think its really autotuning, his voice sounds the same as the original.

Just listened to the whole album on MuchMusic twice and I'm still listening :lol . This may possibly be the best album I've heard and given my situation the last couple months can relate to a good amount of these lyrics.

I was skeptical after Love Lockdown, but Say You Will, Welcome to Heartbreak, Amazing, Streetlights, and basically the rest of the album blew me away. 808s and Heartbreak is going to be one of my top albums for atleast awhile.

I think new Robocop is fine, but god damn, the ourto is a minute too long, the fuck is up with that. Say You Will could probably be trimmed half a minute or so too.

It's Taylor Swift with a wig and push-up bra. The picture was fuzzy so I messed around with it in Photoshop, hence the CG look.

He added a layer of distorted vocals to Streetlights, like in the third verse of Love Lockdown. I don't know if I like it. And I haven't listened to the new Robocop or any version of Say You Will or Bad News. I'm holding out for the grouprip. Supposedly, the Japanese release date is tomorrrow, or at least the Japanese iTunes release. We should have it from that, if we don't get it before then.

I just tried to listen to the Robocop outro again to see if it was really as bad as I remember it being from listening to it earlier.

eh? the biggest change is the strings in the first verse. really not that big of a deal. although i dont like it as well. sounds off key. if you dont like the outro, you can just skip to the next song lol

Why is Kanye so intent on fucking up the various parts of this album one week before release?

mickey mouse gloves breaking the heart? Jesus.

The deflated heart was obvious enough. this is just overkill. I hope it's a joke.

yeah, i know i can skip to the next song, but robocop used to be so good to me. And I don't remember those strings in the other version 'till the end of the song, and now it's throughout the entire song and messes up the flow.

anyways, the album has lots of potential.

true it was a lot more subtle in the previous ones. you could hear it in the chorus though if u listened closely, and i could be wrong about it being in the second verse. forgot already. maybe he'll change it up?....

Ive yet to heard the new "Welcome to Heartbreak" but if it's as bad as everyone says, I'm ready to just listen to the version i have now only.

GAF hated the original original (I liked it, but most of GAF didn't). The 2nd version was AWESOME though. I'm so glad I have a good quality mp3 of the 2nd version.

damn the SAW music is awesome, but i dont hear any resemblance.

anyway, people be overreacting about these changes. keep in mind this why we shouldnt listen to leaks lol. if we had heard just the new version we wouldnt be complaining. also, the new chorus sounds great. its the strings in the verses that are the problem.

It's not bad. He just downplayed it....a lot. The original was just epic and had a big sound. He completely killed that but I don't think it's necessarily a bad thing. It's just different. Again, I'll still be buying the album because I like what he's doing a lot and I'd like him and other artists to take more risks in the future.

Oh no doubt, I'm still buying this album day one, I just preferred the leaks to the final versions. I am overreacting a bit to the new WtHB, but that's because I've heard what it could've been and I just think the original is, as someone just mentioned, so much more epic. The album version just sounds like any other song. I don't see why he had to change RoboCop though, it was pretty much perfect with the 2nd version...there's just way way way too much going on during the song now; I thought the whole point of the song was to have a robotic feel as well, but now it almost sounds like a Christmas tune or something.
