Bobby Champs - Drag Queen(links below)
Techno. "Latte" and "Charlie"(I'll forgive the vocal sample) are the standouts but it's good across the board.

Midland - Bring Joy (Midland 2012 Refix) (clip)
Four Tet - Jupiters (Happa Remix) // !!!
Lil Silva - My Epiphany
Cid Rim - Draw (Dorian Concept Remix)
Face + Heel - Wounded Shadows (edit)
Isaac Tichauer - Doing What I Got // French Express

If I'm honest with myself, while I love trap in its current form, I can't deny still being stuck in the played out witch house phase. I wish Salem and White Ring would make more chopped trap tunes.

Can somebody recommend some similar stuff to Disclosures face EP?
I'd recommend Bondax and Karma Kid, same sound/scene. xxxy would also be another good one to check out. On my mobile or I'd provide some links.

edit: Krystal Klear's "We're Wrong"

Civilization 2.0: And a new single for you, frenz.

Trying to nail down that punchy video game vibe for singles while maintaining an atmospheric video game setting for my albums. Hope you guys like!

FINE I WILL LISTEN AGAIN PROPERLY

Really enjoy the first half, second half it gets a bit flat compared to the more dynamic start. Maybe tweak some elements in and out a bit more. Sounds a little too mixed in and doesn't jump out as much as it could.

I just relistened to Tomas Barfod's Salton Sea with my headphones, my god, I think this is a top ten electronic record this year.

Caving into the stereotype that all electronic music sounds the same, I honestly can't tell much of a difference (other than production quality) b/w trance now and trance from the mid-late 90s. I used to like it (though I never went full rave to anything) when stuff like this was around:
Piet Blank & Jaspa Jones - Cream (Original Mix)
The Morrighan - Remember (To The Millenium) (Lange remix)
Unicorn - Obsession Forever

Coincidentally (or not), all are from Gatecrasher Wet. One of the first albums I remember buying *completely* blindly, and not regretting it. It introduced me to this:
Lustral - Everytime (Mike Koglin remix)

is beloved, despite what anyone might say
I think trance has gotten a bit better lately than from the last few years when every single producer was trying to shoehorn electro stuff into it (see: Jochen Miller, Rank 1, Leon Bolier). Even on the big mixshows (ASOT, TATW, GDJB) I will hear a few well-produced and original-sounding songs when a few years ago I'd just get bored. It's even more refreshing in this day and age when electro house is completely dominating the airwaves.

J00F, Timewave, and Airwave in particular are still holding things down. Even Oakenfold has gotten a lot better lately. And on the more progressive side of things, Mistiquemusic has had a shitload of great releases. And Anjunadeep is still pushing boundaries by combining melodic trance riffs with deep house, prog and even a bit of electro.

Having no Internet at home has been bloody awful.
Its just about working so got to listen to a few things and get a few mixes but yeah liking this Bobby champs alot. My knowledge of techno is basically no existent but if it sounds like that im on board! I liked Drag queen the most though.

Also that ARP1 song is really good!

daviyoung;41328869]Probably the only recent trancey track I've loved, don't even think it counts as trance nowadays though.

Marc Romboy - Stratosphere (liked this)

and some randoms

DJ Kentaro - Kiss FM Dubstep Mix
da fuq!? Though going of the tracklist I cant tell if your just sly trolling ;)
Edit: well skipping through it quickly , it does not sound like expected it. Its abit mental but well done mental haha

Oh and I forgot, I met this guy Scotty A on saturday and chatted to him all night as he knew the guy I went to this boat party with (He got mistaken for Guy J aha) Anyway hes had a few of his tracks played by Hernan Canteneo and hes playing at a Bedrock night in a few months so maybe a few of you guys will like his stuff?

Edit 4000:
I forgot, I made this mix, I couldnt decide if it was ok or trash and id already spent an afternoon on it so chucked it up anyway.

So many great tunes guys, this thread just keeps on delivering!

Something to add some sublime disco infused house loveliness

Andre Crom & Martin Dawson feat Roland Clark - Back To The Future (Monte Remix)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dbJ3x3Ri3gw

and this corker from Beatamines & David Jach ( the video is rather nice as well, looks like the Dimensions music festival site )

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5PQDJP-WIbM

Gaaaawwwwwd damn that Andre Crom track is stellar. That other one is pretty good as well, but the warble that comes when time-stretching vocals always grates on me... reminds me of when DJs use key-lock on CDJs.

Jacques Greene has such a good groove. The Look is excellent. Late and all, just dropping impressions.
Man, at first I really wasn't sure, but after the first 8 beats or so (such was the immediate, initial, false impression) I got sucked into it. Such a smooth yet wildly different percussive backdrop, absolutely love it.

Edit: Okay, even though the first video link on Google says "The Look", the song it turns out I was hearing (and thusly, commenting on) was Tell Me. Didn't really like The Look. But Tell Me... oh man.

Going by google/youtube, was it this? Thats a remix of The Look, not labeled as such.

This is the original.

Nope, this. First video that comes up, has the name of the EP on it but isn't actually the song that's playing.

Not digging that track as much, but doesn't sound too bad!

Not a purposeful troll. Most of it sounded like dubstep to me with bits of breaks and dnb, I don't know much about that side of music.

New Soma release next week.

koreless hasn't put out anything in a while...or at least not that i've seen

Jacques Greene & Koreless - Arrow Pretty awesome song.

I know there are a lot of disco/edit freaks in here, so I thought I would post this here. I played an after party for this girl, Kat Solar, who makes dance pop music ala Madonna/Gaga, last night and just played a bunch of disco/nu-disco/edits/bass/house to great effect. It was a fun night, and I think some of y'all will get a kick out of it.

Solar After Party

Anna Lunoe & Flume - I Met You (Late Nite Tuff Guy Disco Dub)
Carly Simon - Why (Hot Toddy Mix)
Escort - Cameleon Chameleon (Ilija Rudman Music Interpretation)
Alkalino - I Feel It 2
Flight Facilities - Crave You (C90s Remix)
Alkalino - Keep On (Michael Jackson edit, boss)
Alkalino - Moon Sun ("Oh Yea" by Yello edit)
Soundspace - You & Me
Disclosure - What's In Your Head
Maetrik - Walk Alone (Maceo Plex Revenge Remix) <--- Killer
Mungolian Jetset - Smells Like Gasoline
Dragonette - Let It Go (The Knocks Remix)
Kat Solar - Doing What Feels Good
Freaks - We Move
Bufi - Will Be (Extended Club Mix)
Azari & III - Manic (Maceo Plex Mix)
Jimmy Edgar - Hot Raw Sex
Alden Tyrell - Touch the Sky (original mix)
Solomun - Cloud Dancer (Kraak & Smaak Remix)
The S.O.S. Band - Let's Do It (Late Nite Tuff Guy Edit)
Mungolian Jetset - Moon Jocks & Prog Rocks (Todd Terje Schlong Tong Vocal Version)
Cortney Tidwell - Don't Let Stars Keep Us Tangled Up (Ewan Pearson Remix)
Ane Brun - Headphone Silence (Henrick Schwarz Dixon Edit)

Apologies for the Dragonette > Kat Solar thing. It's an incredibly strange and awkward transition, but I was required to play at least one song of hers. Enjoy!

Lurve the DJ HMC remix beaucoup! It is pretty interesting that he would release the two remixes at the same time, as well... Still prefer the dub remix, but the HMC version has such a killer edge to it.

Will have to listen to the original later. In bed, bout to play the new Ratchet and Clank beta :3

Edit: also, I actually opened with LNTG's edit of "Boy You Turn Me," but forgot to hit record until the third song in which was "I Met You". Forget what I played inbetween... "Boy U Turn Me" even got the security guard dancing, haha!

That Solomun track *hardcore* reminds me of this:
Full Intention - La Musique (spun me out hearing Oliver $ play this during a set... such a great track)

Thinking about it now, the repetitiveness of a lot of the new edits (definitely the disco vibe coming back) suits a LOT of Full Intention's back catalogue:
Deepest Blue - Shooting Star (Full Intention remix) (By FAR my favourite track of theirs. Great memories attached to it, along with it being a fucking amazing song)
The Guitar (Falls most into the vibe of LNTG/GW-esque re-edits than anything else they've done, IMO... it's Funky Town, BTW ;))

And while not even remotely in the same vain (vein?) as a re-edit, probably my second favourite track of anything either of the FI boys have produced:
Scape feat. D'Empress - Be My Friend (Michael Gray remix)
Sure, on the surface it's just another version of The Weekend but with a different vocal... but it's so, so much more. Hasn't aged well, but holds a special place in my heart.

But if you only have time to check out one track I posted above, make sure it's Shooting Star. If you haven't heard it before (I don't think that version was ever *that* big) then I envy your first time hearing it :)

Going to check this out tonight. That LNTG mix it kicks off with is awesome.

Aaliyah - Enough Said (feat. Drake) (Shlohmo Remix)
Hundred Waters - Thistle (Star Slinger Remix)
Hackman - Lost From Me (clip)
Ed Congreave - Heal // One of the guys from Foals, UK house with some lovely vocals. Track is fire.

Bicep has a new release, Vision of Love, dropping September 24th(vinyl only), here's trailer/sampler:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f7_uBb7f7-M // "Keep Keep" is that hotness

edit: That Koreless remix of HTDW is fantastic.

Have I posted this here? It's old, I probably have (because it's an Australian track and I'm fiercely patriotic when it comes to good Australian dance music) but for some reason it just popped into my head. Possibly because it wouldn't have sounded out of place in okno's set:
The Aston Shuffle - Start Again (Jump Jump Dance Dance Remix)

Not apologizing if I am indeed repeating myself, though... because it's a damn good track.

And the girl who did the vocal is in Lovers Electric, who did another great little song (at least, there was a good remix of it):
Lovers Electric - Honey (Sam La More remix)
