example of livepa. master files are on the mpc, and he mixes/remixes the tracks live using the individual track files. IMO you get better sets done this way. More creative input from the artist vs just blending tracks. Although guys like Jeff Mills blow your mind on three or four decks.

This is awesome.
Just bought the remix EP a few days ago, solid stuff. The Lando Kal remix does, however, absolutely take the cake. I like this one for the extra bounce it gives to the song. "The Giver" is probably my song of the year, such a tune.
Shouldn't be too hard to find a working video of it on YT. Either look for the "pump" remix or Francois K

Alex Metric surprised the fuck out of me when I saw him play a set at a festival this year. I'd only known the track that was licensed for Forza 4 (It Starts) but man, even though he played a lot (if not all) his own tracks (as I found out later), everything he played was fucking killer. Was blown away by his remixes of Sabotage and Freeland's Under Control (which I could've sworn was a Soulwax track, it sounded that similar).
Absolutely massive respect for the guy.

So I was picking out my new avatar, and I opened a whole bunch of images in google, and one of the sites started playing the most amazing music ever. But Upon going to the site it no longer played. I can't even find it now. This is going to bother me. I'll report back once I retrieve the elusive tune.

I guess this is a good thread to ask this in. I'm looking to buy a midi keyboard to play around with and I know nothing about them. I can't spend more than $50. I'm thinking about the Korg Nanokey2, and it fits my price range perfectly at exactly $50 on Amazon.
Anyone who is familiar with Midi Keyboards, is this a good choice for a beginner? Are there others you would recommend more? Thanks.
