I decided to put together a list of all the artists that I've identified liking. This was a far too ambitious project. The impetus was to build a framework to fill in the gaps of my collection... but my god this is worse than a steam backlog already...

So HNNY has put out a shit load of music there year. One full length LP, one LP of edits, and like 5 eps.

I was goofing on his newish style (in comparison to his older raw diva house sound) of slow chilled out sunny house music, but I took a listen to his Sunday LP (working through all of it right now) and it's pretty great. Like house/trip hop/hippy goofy stuff.

Wow that's amazing, I heard a comment on a podcast that I listen to that this game had great music but I had no idea it would be legit techno. Cool as hell.

New PC, so I'm going to grab my midi-controller out of the closet, dust it off and connect it this weekend.

Haven't mixed in over a year, time to use those thousands of Beatport purchases again...

When I put that mix together, I stuck my final preview on my headphones while doing a pretty heavy duty dish washing session. The combination of Persuasion and the Gonno track before it was enough to make my head explode. Churning monsters of tracks.

Ps. the Gonno album is great. It must be out nowish.

Yep! Although being the Manchester branch of IA, the nearest I'll be getting is a FaceTime link...

IA used to do nights in the past, some great links with the Border Community lot but now kicking them off again. Same focus on top quality challenging names.

The fact that it comes with a USB stick means it'll also come out digitally which significantly lessens the appeal to me. I'm very tempted to pick up the vinyl set, but if I'm going to throw down that much money on it I want to know it will have some exclusivity to it beyond just being colored vinyl. Each vinyl should have an exclusive track to it that won't be released digitally, in my opinion.
