Anyone else getting the feeling that isn't actually Chloe? I'm thinking it's one of Tess' bad guys. A shapeshifter maybe.

This is the first Smallville Ep i've seen in....4, 5 Seasons? And i'm sorry, but this dialogue is cheesy as fuck, particularly from Parasite and the other chicken. "Scaredy-cat had all nine lives?"

Oh well. If it ends in a decent TV-sized Doomsday/Kent tilt i'll be satisfied.

season finale is going to awesome....was not expecting zod, but then if i remember correctly, we never really saw Zod earlier....he just inhabited Lex and then Clarke managed to get him out of the body and he disappeared???

Lonnie in Chicago: Any hints on what villains are coming to Smallville?

A few fan faves will be back next season, but we'll have to wait a while to find out the rest. Says Brian Peterson, "We introduced several this year that we'll probably bring back next year. We loved Zatanna. We looked at a few others that we want to introduce, but we're going to wait for Comic-Con to release all that." One hero you won't see stopping by is Batman. Though the producers really want to have him on the show, Kelly Sounders says there's still trouble with the franchise crossovers: "Obviously everybody wants to keep all the franchises going and give the fans what they want in each. If that opening ever, ever occurs, we'll be all over it."

I also just realized that in "Injustice" Clark uses a PSP as the GPS device and he actually practically holds it up to the screen (they also used an iPod Touch in this episode). Just reminds us just how bad the budget really is. :lol

Well guys, it's pretty much confirmed: Smallville is going to season 10.

Me: What’s the latest with Smallville? How do you like living in Vancouver?

Mack: The latest with Smallville is that we have another season [after this season’s finale on May 14]. Tom has signed for two more, so the show will go until season 10. I will be completed with my contract next year, and I am looking for new and exciting ways to carry out my character’s exit. I love living in Vancouver, it is one of the most beautiful cities in the world. I love the people, the food, the aesthetic, and the life I have built here. It’s wonderful.

new to the thread, but I've been barely keeping up with Smallville

in retrospect though, after almost 8+ seasons I'd wish they just went to Superman

at this point though everyone knows what Clark looks like without glasses :lol

As for the age thing, keep in mind that in the show's world, Clark is only about to turn/just turned 22 years old. They celebrate his birthday in May, and the last time we saw that in the show was the end of season 5, and they said he was turning 19. So I'll pretend each season since is a year going by, like we know they did in the first 5 years, and that puts him at 22.

As far as I know he doesn't actually become Superman until his mid to late 20's, right?

well if every season was a year, that would mean he was 14 in season 1, which isnt right lol. he was..a junior in season 1? so he would have been 17 or so

edit: "each season since", nvm then. confused me when u said "like we know they did for the first 5 years"

Nope, he was a freshman in season 1. Each season up through 4 was a different year of high school.

So yes, he was playing a 14 year old in season 1. :lol

holy shit i gotta rewatch or something. i cant believe they tried to pass him off as a freshman, goddam. ive just completely blanked on earlier seasons, but now i realize this show has been on for 8. years. doesnt seem that long really

I recently rewatched it with my mom and there was a scene where they called him 14 (or 15 in season 2 -- I forget) and we both were like WTF?

Still terrifically funny though. They'd think I look like an infant.

I like to pretend that he is really a couple years older than that but they had no idea on his actual age and due to the shady adoption process, had to fudge his age, meaning he was "really" 16 as a Freshman in season 1. It is the only way i find it even remotely believable.

THey should have ended this show this season, I don't know that they can pull it off 2 more seasons, every season already has quite a slow part in the middle as it is.

Go back to the first 3-4 seasons. He was a lot more lean and more ripped then. Hes definitely aged since then, and is in nowheres near the physical shape he used to be in. Hence the reason he pretty much doesn't do shirtless scenes anymore.
